Don't buy those expensive kits! Buy the rope and these sleeves separately, you'll have many more to use and they're much less expensive. Work like a charm. I recommend using dual clips for all situations.

Not sure why I care about the back looks, I only see them when I move my paintings! I make my own frames for my oil paintings and have several twisted wire connections slip, and they just looked messy. These grip the wire, I haven't had any slipping and it looks neat and clean and professional. See the new way of wiring paintings and my old way. I am much happier with how clean these cable crimps look.

Crimp on wire sleeves work well on the stated size of wire. I always make a U-bend in the end of the wire and then apply the crimp to the sleeve in about 3 points with a set of pliers.
