these things are very small... like very small. admittedly, the measurements are given, but the pictures are slightly misleading. attached a picture for reference. nothing wrong with the product. just remember, they are small!

I used these to make a flyback converter transformer - it works surprisingly well.6 turns of 28awg got me ~15uH (no airgap)the core saturation with no airgap/spacer/grinding is around 3-4A in my testing.there is no way to secure the cores tightly together in a non permanent way - so prepare to superglue the two halfs togetherthe advertised dimensions are pretty spot on as well.

I was looking for ferrite core for 7000V 2amps.The picture makes it appear as big as a microwave transformer.My fault, should have read the entire description. Am returning it!
