I can flatten these merde hole straps with my thumb ... less the sharp edge would probably cut my palm. Maybe I'll let one sit in salt water and see how stainless it is. As rigid as a stick of butter on a hot sidewalk. Maybe they meant pipe as in "use for holding pipe cleaners for arts & crafts"

Small, thin, light duty only. Not constructed for any serious jobs. Cheap. You get what you pay for. Read the description carefully, these are NOT standard 1" brackets, they are the same size as standard 1/2" brackets, will NOT fit over a 1" copper pipe
