I bought these to fit and replace the flimsy axle caps on a large 70 quart wheeled cooler. The axle was originally fitted with chrome, press fit axle caps. Some reviewers had stated that they have had wheels loosen or fall off. I proactively replaced them with these very solid set screw lock collars. I did use a drill to dimple the axel for the set screw, and used Loctite to secure it solidly. This is not necessary. These collars appear very well made, and are probably twice as solid as they need to be for my purpose!
