I needed the sensor for my air conditioning system to replace the defective original sensor. Unfortunately, the new sensor was also defective after less than 6 weeks. Let's see how long the other sensors last.

This thermistor, using a 5V supply and a 1K resistor in series works great measuring the voltage across the 1K.

I used one of these on a mini split A/C liquid line because the old one went bad and the resistance reading was way off so the A/C stopped working. I checked the resistance on each one of these and they all varied a bit but they were all close to the correct reading at the given temperature, according to the service manual supplied with my A/C. My ac now works and the price was great for 5 of these!

The compressor on my A/C would not turn off no matter what setting. I could only unplug the whole unit it to get it off. I replaced all the thermistors and it is now fixed, so I’m not sure which one was bad, but we are back in business!
