You cannot balance a circular grinder/polisher if the arbor hole is not in the exact center. Useless as delivered.

Had to buff a 1"x 36" stainless steel flat bar for a rear fender brace for a custom harley. The 2" width made t it easy to keep it on the wheel. The 3/4 horse 3600 rpm baldor buffer can make it hard to keep it on a 1" wheel. It was well worth the price. Ordered on monday- arrived on wedensday. It left a finish that was easy to shine that was better than chrome. A very big thumbs up.

It works, but.... It is out of balance and much softer than my more expensive fiber wheels. Make sure you have the right size shaft or you will need to purchase two extra bushings because it is too thick for just one regular size bushing. The cheap price isn't so cheap after you have to purchase the two bushings.

The 5/8 " center thru hole is drilled off center. So much vibration that my grinder has to be shut off immediately. I need a replacement wheel with the hole drilled on center

Don't buy this like I did, thinking I could get it on one of my 8" grinders. That 2" thickness chews up available shaft space quickly. Measure your shaft length BEFORE you buy.Am I glad I bought them? Yes, I will probably buy an 8" buffer to accommodate them. I also bought a 1" thick unit from this company, made for 6" grinders, and it is great. These seem to be the same exact material. And the price can't be beat. When I figure out which 8" buffer I want, so I can get long enough shafts, I plan on a dedicated unit for these.UPDATE: I finally decided on the $79 Eight inch grinder/buffer from HF for this application. Many complaints on vibration on this unit, but that is due to the cheapo cloth wheel they put on, and that is what I took off to make room for my uxcell wheel. Much to my surprise, the HF unit had a nice shoulder on the shaft, and a sleeve that fit well into the uxcell wheel. Slipped it on the shaft, added the usual face plates on both sides, and put the nut on. It runs very well, not much vibration at all, save for one thing: At 3600 RPM, this thing just sings and puts out a ton of air, like it is going to possibly start shedding pieces. With a sturdy face-shield on, I took a rather messy golf club head, (I build golf club hat racks for sale), and started buffing.Boy, does this thing clean a golf club, and does not shed much at all. Once you get used to an 8" wheel doing 3600 RPM close to your hands, it is just fine. Cleaned a few clubs, so far, no apparent wear on my wheel. Loving this now, and between the cost of the wheel and the cost of the 8" grinder/buffer from HF, I am in for less than $100. Not bad!

as with many of the buffing wheels I have been buying....THE ARBOR HOLE IS DRILLED ON AN ANGLE!!! poor set up and even worst quality control...why cant these guys drill a hole that is 90 degrees off the side wall...it is more than a eighth of an inch angled and throws the wheel off balance....Next DAY...well I managed to get it fairly centered...I must say this thing does the job...wow..when you level it out it puts a satin finish on stainless effortlessly...it WORKSll then to the buffer for a final finish...love it...worth the hassle to get it running even...

Does great work of cleaning up my tools. Check out Resto-Rob on YouTube and see the fiber wheel in action.
