Epoxy glass cloth rubber sheet is used as the insulating collective, adopting the cut-in bite contact structure

Agree with other review you can’t be heavy handed in soldering. More for the experienced soldered. Only tricky part is that there is a small ring with a tab where you can set how many switch positions are allowed. Can be a little tricky if it moves while installing in the panel, but otherwise works great.

this is a beautifully crafted rotary switch. the connect/disconnects are clean (look at 'em on a 'scope at a fairly high frequency). i suspect that if you've new to or heavy handed with a soldering iron you could probably mess this little baby up, but with appropriate tinning, making sure that you don't solder one connector next to the other and *never* solder into the position the switch is set to, you shouldn't have any worries.

Commutateur standard en plastique à picot à souder sur CI;Mais on peut aussi y souder directeur des fils avec un peu d'habileté.Livré avec son bouton diametre 15mm à la base et 10mm en haut à emboiter. La tige comporte des cran pour éviter que le bouton glisse.

The two switches that I received did *NOT* include the metal nut and the locking ring as is shown in the picture. Without the locking ring, this isn't a 3P4T switch, it might be described as a 3P(3x4)T switch. In other words, without the locking ring the switch rotates through 12 positions: ComA connects in sequence to pins 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4; ComB connects to pins 5,6,7,8,5,6,7,8,5,6,7,8; and Com C connects in pins 9,10,11,12,9,10,11,12,9,10,11,12 in sequence. Without the locking ring, this switch is useless to me.They refunded my money, but would MUCH rather have received the switch that was described and pictured.

The first switch I ordered was fine. It takes quite a bit of force to rotate, but it's functional. The second one was missing the knob and arrived with 4 badly bent pins. I bent the pins straight but am concerned about how reliable they will be. Now I need to find another knob.

These switches are actually 12 position, 3 pole, meaning each pole has 4 positions. There is a locking ring included that can be employed to stop the rotary at any position you like. I only needed 4 positions for a video switch that I am building for the 4 cameras and DVR that I have in vehicles. This was a cheap and economical way to make this work.
