Furniture Screw-in Nut
- Inner hex head and the body trapezoidal design, the structure is more stable.
- Nut insert has internal and external threads. The internal thread is mainly for self-locking wood. Generally, it is a standard mechanical thread, which is convenient for connecting with other standard threaded fasteners.

- The head with flange has a positioning function and is installed on the surface of the connecting piece; without flange is no positioning function and is installed inside the connecting piece.

Installation Steps
- Measure the thickness of the board, the board is longer than the nut by more than 3mm.
- Example: The M6 nut is used with an M8 drill bit, and the drilling depth is the length of the nut.
- Use an M6 hexagon wrench to screw the nut clockwise into the board.
- Screw the nut until it is level with the wooden board.

I am using them to place into 3d printed plastic. I heated them up with my mini torch and they melted. Odd.

I do not recommend these unless you're working with softwood or other malleable materials. When you try driving the insert into the wood the inside hex pattern strips very easily. if you manage to drive the insert into the wood the threads are also pretty weak and will shear off the insert.

Used these to make my 10lb studio monitors VESA compatible. 4 in each speaker and they've been mounted for the past 8ish months. Very easy to install, I just drilled a hole and threaded them straight into the wood.
