I’ve used this end cap on a climbing rope strap for my camera. It is really nice but when tightening the screws will eventually crack the chrome platting of the clip around the pre-drilled holes creating sharp edges that will cut your finger. My quick fix is, I added a heat shrink to the clip body to prevent me hurting my fingers.
