I'm extremely pleased with these Rivnuts. I had purchased two packs of rivnuts ($22 each to get a total of 8 rivnuts)) from a different vendor and the first two I attempted to install spun in the frame and didn't tighten. I had to cut one of them out. These ($9.99 for 20) went in without a problem, but I did take care to use an oversized flanged nut and a couple of washers as an installation tool to keep my impact wrench from spinning the rivnut while the oiled bolt compressed the rivnut into the hexagonal hole in the frame. See pic. I finished it up with a torque wrench to spec. Check out YouTube for the tip. If you're installing Steel Rubicon Bumpers on a Jeep JL Sport, you're going to need 6 of these M-10 hexagonal rivnuts. My local Jeep dealers wanted between $8 and over $20 PER RIVNUT, and they didn't have them in stock. These came the next day!

These rivnut fasteners are of excellent quality. I installed a set of utility bed rails in the bed of my ‘21 Ram after I sprayed a bed liner. The hardware that came with the rails would not fit in the holes because of the bed liner. I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to scrape out the hex holes, so I was very happy that these fit in with just a little shove. They performed exactly as they should, with full expansion and a tight fit. Threads were well formed and held the bolts beautifully.
