What is a shelf support pin?
It is mostly used in panel furniture, especially in wardrobes, shoe cabinets, bookcases and other cabinet-style layered furniture. One end is fixed on the side wall of the furniture or the wall, and the other end is parallel to the ground, and the wooden or glass laminates are placed on the shelf support to separate the upper and lower spaces of a cabinet.
Installation:
- Use a drill with the same diameter as the pin to process a mounting hole slightly larger than 0.2mm/0.01". If the diameter of the hole is too bigger than the shelf pin, you can wrap a circle around it with paper strips or tape.
- Insert the pin rod on the laminate and put the partition on it.
- Notice: Generally, 2 pieces are installed on the left and right sides of a partition, a total of 4 pieces. If the items placed on the partition are heavy, 3 to 4 pieces can be installed on each side to increase the bearing capacity.

These forged metal 'Shelf Support Pegs' are indeed sturdy and look a whole lot better than the cheap clips it replaced; however, the silicone cups are not suction cups as stated in the description. The cups cushion the glass shelf but do not stick, the skirt on the cup is not pliable/thin enough to create aforementioned effect. The glass shelf will still slide with some effort if one is not careful. I do not plan on returning the pegs.

The suction cups are tiny and the pegs as well. There was not supports often fall out when the shelf is knocked. Not sure if theses are coming in a larger size

These are not actually suction cup shelf pins. They're more silicone/rubber stops. Doesnt suction to the glass shelves at all.

these worked great to hold up my glass shelves on new china cabinet, needed something that would prevent the glass from sliding

These were exactly what I needed. I added glass shelves to a cabinet for a customer and these little suction cup pegs were perfect and gave the shelves a nice and professional finished look.

Worked much better than the plastic pegs that were came with the Entertainment/media stand that I have. The little rubber cups suck onto the glass keeping it steady.
