Circular Cross-Section

  • They are circular in shape, round in cross-section.
  • Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
  • Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.

Silicone Rubber O-Ring

  • Noted for their ability to be used over a wide temperature range and for excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging.
  • Standard silicones are resistant to water (to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils and animal and plant oils, and fats.
  • Silicones are generally not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short term to 120°C is possible), silicone oils and greases, acids, or alkalis.

I typed in o rings for plugs and this was one of the cheaper recommendations. Yeah I was wrong, this is for plumbing. altho it might serve a purpose, 1 is not synonymous with the other. go to a legit piercing store or ebay for this

Oops. Much too small for 510 drip tip. I shoulda measured the existing worn one first. I have these now in case I need them.

Purchased for my Gaggia Classic espresso maker steam nozzle as the original deteriorated after about a yr.. These o rings seem more robust and if the have an indefinite shelf life the quantity included may last the life of the machine.
