When I received this the product looks really nice.The modification isn't too hard to do..But to make it fit your speaker means that you will have to trim the insides to get this to sit flush on the speaker. So I used a soldering iron to modify it to fit the speaker.Also there is little mounting tube spacers for the screws. So I suggest line them up with the holes and use the Solder iron and bond them to the speaker grille and that will be one less headache for you.Once modified they fit and look great.Not sure why the company who makes this doesn't spend a few minutes extra with the correct fitment.

We like these speaker covers, we used them to cover our speakers we have recessed in our basement TV room wall. Like that they are 2 pieces so you can attach the frame part before inserting the speaker vent.

For use with my alpine series s 5x7s I had to cut out a significant amount of the plastic frame. Easy enough to do with a small pair of side cutters, but shouldn't have required to be resized
