I like the concept and size, but they don't hold tight enough for my intended use, to cinch my shoe tie. It would probably be fine for something without the pressure of walking around.

So small I needed a magnifying glass to see what I was doing. I think maybe a strand of hair would fit through the hole but not fishing line, I'm sorry to say.

These have no means of staying together without a cord through them so are a bit challenging to construct but functional.
