Spring had to fit a 1/8" hole, length I could cut if necessary. Hardware stores I went to had no springs this small, so I ordered these. I now have a lifetime supply of replacements, but it did the job perfectly.

These were a perfect fit for a Suburban dome light interior 2mm x 10mm Spring The switch for the little circular dome lights in the roof mounted rear climate control console had broken over time. I pieced together the parts for the switch and was unable to find the spring. These springs worked perfectly. The dome light is now rebuilt and functions as normal. I'm leaving this comment so that people who have an 05 ish chevy with these little 3 terminal switches that break can also know that these are the correct measurement springs for the repair. Springs are of good quality (What does that even mean)

I own a 2001 GMC Sierra and my driver side map light button stopped working.After I pulled the unit off, I noticed that the button stopped working because of a GM flawed design. The push-action mechanism touches the lid of the housing. The lid is clip-on and over-time with enough button pushing, the lid can pop open.I recovered all the pieces but the spring. I originally bought these springs because someone else fix theirs with this size. The correct size is 3mm x 10mm, but 2mm x 10mm will work due to a little nipple on the center of the mechanism.After putting the unit together, I JB welded the housing. Gorilla glue or any strong adhesive will work. The internal parts of the button mechanism are actually pretty solid/sturdy, I deemed it safe to permanently seal them up.

apparently NOT stainless steel as advertised. but they win, to cheap to worry about fighting over. not stainless colored as pictured, dark brown. reacts strongly to a magnet, another bad sign.I am prototyping something for outdoor use, if it works, i will order stainless again from somewhere else

I use these to replace the little spring that flies out of the pellet probe in old Sheridan and Benjamin air rifles. I rarely lose the spring but have discovered them missing on many guns that I repair. Pretty much an exact match to the originals.
