Rubber bristles grab the hair and vacuum socks it up. Great for my dog hair. A good thing I like the plastic in my car does not get scratches from the. They fit most vacuum cleaners, but I bought the extra adapters to use on both my shop-vac and my bissell which has a little different shape. Again works great for me.

This is a game changer for anyone who has pets! This is easy to use, makes cleaning up pet hair a lot easier than using 5 different tools and then vacuuming. Perfect for steps, seats in the car, couches, mattresses, anywhere really.

I am happy with it. The maker of my vacuum wanted $65 for their pet hair removal attachment so I find this one reasonably priced. It does a pretty good job getting hair off an area rug. My dog doesn't get on the furniture so I can't comment on that or how it operates on stairs. It is a little bigger in diameter than my hose attachment, but I just jam it on there and it works fine.

I have a black and tan short haired dachshund, a creamy gray linen-ish sofa, and a Samsung stick vac (works great, but is it the suckiest? Maybe not.)Axel's fur is short and fine and really works its way into the weave of my sofa. So can I just stick this thing on my vacuum and remove fur? No. I take the attachment in my hand, pass over the sofa manually several times in one direction, using a fair amount of pressure for the rubber nubs to really pull out the fur until I make a little pile and then suction it up. So it helps a LOT to pull out the fur, it's just a little more work on my part than I'd hoped.

One star for perfect fit and it does not slip off when I am on my knees "GOING HAM" on my low-pile area rug.However, my issue with this attachment is that it just pushes my pugs hair back and forth on the carpet until it forms a hair ball. Then the hair ball just sits there on the carpet waiting for me to pick it up. It didn't work for me but it might work for someone else.

This thing fits perfectly on our shop vac and makes cleaning the stairs SO easy. We have a dog and 3 black cats, on light beige carpet. The difference this thing makes is incredible!

I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to for this vacuum attachment. This attachment has worked wonders on my couch! Full disclosure I have short haired pets, so I can't comment on how well it works for long hair, but this made my couch look clean and new again. I have 3 dogs and a cat so the couch always has hair on it, but this has helped a lot. I'll admit it doesn't connect directly to the hose but if you add the hose extension on it fits just fine. It's a little cumbersome because of this but well worth it to have clean furniture. There maybe a converter out there to help with this. This is an all around good product and does exactly as described.
