Adapter is a little pricey, but is worth it. It cuts down the amount of dust by 90%. Hardly any cleanup.

Using the 2.5 inch version to sand some repairs I’m doing to our plaster walls. Can tell a huge difference between the amount of dust with and without this product. Easy connection and very durable. I stepped off a ladder on top of it accidentally (with a good bit of force) it only caused a small crack easily repairable with some glue!

I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive sander/vacuum set up, and this peice saved me from having to do so. I like the thickness of the price and also how snug the fit is, when attached to the vacuum hose. I sand A LOT of furniture that I restore or build and this is a definite must have in my tool collection; it never comes off my sander. I will be buying a couple of extras, because you never know what will happen.

I like the fit was sanding ceiling the vacuum hose angle do not support it I used two sizes and both crack

Woodworking is only a hobby for me, so I am not in massive need of larger dust mitigation set ups. I was able to directly attach my shop vac to my orbital sander, which is mostly where I get a lot of the fine dust from, but it of course didn't stay in too well because of the notches. This adapter works great, is a perfect fit, and now my shop vac stays on the sander with no issue.
