I was so disappointed after all the 5 star reviews but I could not get this to stay suctioned to the flattest, smoothest part of my dash. (Yes, I cleaned it well and followed all the directions.) I sent it back.

I had success with many smooth things (glass/mirrors, glossy painted doors, polished kitchen cabinets, stainless steel fridge, even a MacBook) but not with surfaces with rougher textures including most plastics.• It folds down small for storage and for low profile applications.• The arm rotates 360˚ in the middle. Coupled with the 180˚+ rotation at both ends, this allows for plenty of flexibility in positioning your phone. In a pinch you could use it as a (somewhat unsteady) phone stand on a flat and level surface.• The dial that activates the suction has a satisfying “clunk” at both ends of its 120˚ travel.• There’s an assistive tab to help you detach it when the suction is super high.WHAT I LIKE LESS:• I was expecting a white phone holder. This one is black, contrary to the description and product photos. I’m only deducting a star for that, since I will still use it. The color discrepancy may be a dealbreaker for some readers.• Some odd translations in the instructions. Example: “Attach the product to a flat and smooth facial cleanser.”

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this mount. I will admit that I now understand that I initially misread the description and details about this mount. I only saw the word suction and assumed it was like other similar mounts I have seen that are electronic suction, meaning they are powered like a vacuum. This mount is sturdy and has descent hold from the magnets but it is nothing like the vacuum powered ones I have seen. I have the biggest issue with list listing since they use the word vacuum and yet it isn't, just a suction cup. It comes with a plastic disc to affix it to whatever surface of choice you wish to use it on but that requires it to be stuck on with the attached adhesive. I was looking for a simple mount that would be controlled by a button and easily change the amount of pressure and suction to hold your phone securely. The price point of this mount is good, and it is made with good materials. I just wish it was electronic and what I was hoping for. I do recommend it if you are looking for a non vacuum model.

I have been searching for a Magsafe suction cup phone holder that would allow me to mount my iPhone high on my windshield so I could do some imaging from my car. I have bought a bunch of other products and none of them did what I needed. Some had adhesive on the suction cup. Others had a good suction cup, but the arm holding the Magsafe magnet intruded into the field of view. This is perfect. A great suction cup. The twisting to secure it works quite easily, and once it's engaged, it is secure on the windshield. The Magsafe magnet holds my iPhone securely and no part of the arm or suction cup is in the field of view. I'm very happy with this!

I was looking for a compact yet strong phone mount for my car, and this one exceeded my expectations! The vacuum magnetic suction holds my phone securely, even on bumpy roads. The 360° adjustability makes it super convenient to position my phone at the perfect angle for navigation or hands-free calls.
