Not sure if this will help anyone or not. I used this vacuum pump to make a desoldering gun. It has more vacuum than I thought. Works great. The only issue I see is there is no mounting tabs but, I am putting it inside an enclosure so it really doesn’t matter. I used an old vacuum and fuel gauge ( it was the only one I had ) to measure the pressure. Hope this helps someone and I hope everyone is safe and well.

I used this at nine volts instead of the rated twelve volts. It still had a lot of suction, and it was quieter.

Used to seal reusable vacuum bags for 3D printer filament. Together with a 12V power adapter and vacuum bags from Amazon, clear plastic tubing, and homemade cover it does a factory like job for filament storage. Will revitalize most old filament.

This does a great job pulling a vacuum on my filtration setup, the only downsides are the lack of obvious mounting points and that the motor gets pretty warm, so I’ll have to build a cooled enclosure of some sort. Don’t bother using the tubing that comes with it if you’re using it as a vacuum pump though, it’ll suck in on itself, so best to get some thicker-walled tubing.

I like the pump but need to know I it’s life expectancy in the following scenarioWe are a new company that uses a pump to evacuate urine from an external male catheter and discharges it through its outlet. The pump needs to create a vacuum of 75 kp on a continuous basis only interrupted briefly by liquid flow of about 200 ml during urination.Typically the pump would operate about 3000 hours per year, primarily as a vacuum pump, but with as many as 1500 brief liquid pumping events during the year. We would like it to last several years.

Easy swap in for a faulty pump in Spectra S1+. A near drop in replacement. Only had to de- and re-solder the wires from old pump to this one and then it worked like brand-new!

This is nearly identical to the pump in my wife's Spectra 2 breast pump. After 1200 hours just short of a year the original dies and insurance only pays for one pump in a calendar year. So instead of buying an entire new one for $160 this was a much cheaper option that they dont want advertised. With a little research I figured out this was the pump and amazingly it was on Amazon Prime. So about $25, a few screws and two terminals to solder and that's it. Works like new.
