I ordered these travel vacuum bags because I travel a lot, and pack poorly, so I'm always looking for ways to save space in my bags. I've used some space-saver bags in the past, and had mixed results, but I thought I'd give these a try.These are nicely made bags, and come with a pump, so you don't have to worry about having access to a vacuum cleaner to repack your bags at your destination - this can be an issue with some of the storage bags.If you haven't used these kind of bags before, they're not for everyone. They really mash your clothes down, and turn them into a flat brick, but it does save a lot of space.Overall, these bags seem to be well made, and don't leak air in my testing. The inclusion of a pump is a nice touch, and they're a good value for the current asking price of $35. If you're looking to save some space in your suitcases, I'd suggest giving these a shot.

These are better than excellent, and if you have a bunch of vacuum bag experience you will be impressed with them.I've ordered these before and I will keep ordering them, because they are durable, highly reusable, thicker than average, seal remarkably easily, and because I own way too much clothing and craft fabric to keep it out in a functional closet or workspace. Vacuum storage bags help keep my house looking like a sane person lives here. I can assure you, none do.These have a great seal on them, the valves are better quality than nearly all the vacuum bags I've used, not counting the ridiculously expensive travel set I purchased once. Those were as good or lightly better, but the bags cost 9 or 10 times the price of these, and they only came in small sizes that weren't even see-through! These work much better for my purposes, and I tend to use them while traveling now too.They're easy to use, easy to store, and the suction holds like a champ.In my experience these little hand pumps like the one included are your best friend with vacuum storage, and this one is lightweight, easy to use, and sturdy as can be. It packs well.Great product, highly recommend!

Smaller than I expected, but they included an extra of each size bag, which is great! When I ordered, it came with a manual hand pump and was considerably cheaper, 12 for $22 vs 12 for $35 with the electric pump. With the electric pump, I don’t think it’s worth the cost, but if it reverts to a manual pump, it’s a good deal. I use these bags for everything. They are strong and hold the seal really well. The pump works great and very quickly. I like the style of these that you load the bags from the long side. I’ve never had that before in a vacuum bag and it’s very helpful for larger items or keeping things folded when you load the bag. Note to the company, bring back the manual pump or have an option of bags only, no pump.

I just wanna start off by saying that this works exactly as advertised and does exactly what you want it to do: compresses all your clothes to easily 1/4 it’s original volume!I tested this out on a large puffer. After folding it up and shoving it in one of the bags, I turned up the vacuum, and it compressed the entire thing to easily the thickness of a small paperback novel! I’ve always avoided packing large puffers because of how much volume it took in my bag, but this now allows me to take any size puffer I want without any of the headaches of trying to stuff it into a bagI also tried vacuum sealing a thick plush toy about the size of a volleyball, and it almost compressed the completely flat! I couldn’t believe how well it worked.This is easily going to make packing so much more efficient from now on. I can’t recommend this vacuum sealing kit enough!

I am incredibly impressed with the 12 Pack Vacuum Storage Bags! These vacuum sealer bags are a lifesaver when it comes to storing away my winter clothes for the summer. The set includes 4 large, 4 medium, and 4 small bags, providing the perfect sizes for various items, from bulky comforters to smaller clothing pieces.What I love the most about these bags is the significant amount of space they save. These are really nice vacuum bags.They have many uses to preserve and protect your precious items.I ordered them to store away, preserve and protect some of my older music archives (I'm a producer): zip disks, CDs and so on.As you may know, discs suffer from "disc rot" over time and eventually become unusable/unplayable.Everyone should be vacuum sealing their DVDs, Blu-ray discs, CDs and even cassettes if you have those.And you can and should vacuum seal any important items that you don't use often that will get dusty or otherwise somehow damaged over time.The pump included is a big help. I bought some space bags some years back, and had to use my vacuum for those.This pump they provided means I don't have to get the vacuum out.Although, I imagine you could still use your actual vacuum with these instead of the pump, if you prefer — or have any sort of trouble with coordination, such as arthritis.Now, how well these bags will *stay* vacuum-sealed over time remains to be seen. I guess we'll see! I'll update my review some time down the line, if I get a chance, to report how well they kept.But for now they seem nice and airtight so I'm very pleased so far! Recommended!
