It’s embarrassing to say, but I have never owned a dough cutter/scraper until now. I have been separating my bread dough using a pizza cutter and knife for the past 10+ years. It was one of those things I kept meaning to buy but forgot once everything was done. Since I’m now baking more, I’ve been shamed into buying a ‘real’ dough cutter and the Vaincre deal seemed like a good quick upgrade not involving a ton of research. After all, two is always better than one, it had measurements etched on the blades, had decent reviews, AND all for under $10!I have to admit, I’ve found the dough cutter to be easy to use and more versatile than I originally thought. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now on loaf breads (naan, italian, sandwich and sourdough), a couple of cakes, and pizza dough. The length is OK and could be a bit larger for my taste, but it fits my hand and handles well enough. It is definitely easier to maneuver when it comes to sectioning yeast dough, scoring & braiding, lifting & shaping loaves, and scraping dough crumbs. The cuts have been consistently clean & sharp. It also has come in handy & is easier than using a silicone spatula for smoothing cake icing/frosting (especially on ice cream cakes). The blade itself is sharp, beveled, and rigid (almost but not as rigid as my pizza cutter) though I haven’t used it for chopping herbs yet. It’s not only easy to use but is easy to clean (dishwasher top rack, but I usually hand wash). The nicest feature is the etched measuring conversion guide/cheat sheet that I always need to reference. While the etched ruler measurements may not be accurate (per a reviewer) it is still useful in gauging approximate cut sizes at a glance. Overall, it’s a great deal for two (2) dough cutters at a great price! Keep both, give one away, or keep the other as a backup. This is well worth the purchase!

The scrapers work like they’re supposed to and at a great price. My only complaint was they were a little jagged on the cutting edge so I took a file and deburred the rough edge on both so I wouldn’t accidentally cut myself because I hate when that happens.Works great now!

These are great! My first so I have nothing to compair them to. They are fairly sharp and well constructed. I've used one to slice pizza and it worked well in that capacity. Waiting for the warmer weather to bake bread and buns. I have no doubt these will work great for their intended use!

The dough cutters are sturdy and have a comfortable hold. A bit sharper than I had expected especially on the corners but worth the purchase.Added bonus the measurement table reminders are encrypted on both pieces.
