I've had these for 3 years now (since 2019) and they are are outstanding. Truly a great value for squat stands for a home gym. They have a very small footprint for the stability and weight storage they offer. They work great for fitting in the relatively small space I have for workout equipment. They also look not terrible or cheap. Highly recommended.

Took a bit longer to install for me because it was just one person. Two would absolutely shorten the time as others have said. Have a 17mm socket and powerdrill adapter? Even shorter. About an hour and a half from unboxing to finished product. Super sturdy though this isn't meant for a power lifter. Let's get that out the way right now. If you are focused on at home bodybuilding or circuits, these stands are for you. The feet do not wobble and the catches are welded strongly together. I might add some electrical tap to the catches just to add more cushion but that would be it. Ideal for small spaces for bench, squat or presses under 300lb.

It was easy to assemble. My biggest complaint is that I have to permanently tie up at least two 25 pound plates to make the racks more stable. Using less than 200 pounds for benching and still I have to let the bar down gently to prevent a mishap.I'm old school and in the past had the racks that were built into the bench. That's the way to go unless you're gonna bolt the racks to the floor. Still, I feel that if the racks were connected by a steel bar, that would be safer in terms of stability.I have asked the company to reimburse me for the loss of two 25 pound plates. In retrospect, I wish I bought a completely different set up. I'll just deal with it the way it is. To dismantle everything and return it, is too much of a hassle.Stay safe folks 👍

Great sturdy product. Holds a lot of weight. Bars are height adjustable. Locks bar in place with quick release hooks. It has safety catchers so you don't crush yourself doing bench presses if you drop the bar.

Good stands for the price. Easy and quick assembly.very light and easy to manuver. With 45# plates on the plate holders this stand was pretty stable up to 225#. This is perfect for a home gym that your not doing 300 pluse pound power lifts in.if your going with big weight spend the extra money and but a professional rig

I am not a weightlifter nor a powerlifter, but am working on functional strength. Lifting alone in my basement is problematic, and since lifting over my head is my weakest lift I needed a squat rack to safely do heavier squats and other lifts that involve the bar on my shoulders. These could not be more perfect. The supports take up little space, are easy to move out of the way, and are quite stable so far. I love that I can move them in or out, so I can use any length bar (the plate storage pegs are for standard plates). The rack was also easy to assemble; take care to tighten down the bolts well, otherwise the rack will be wobbly. You can't beat the price either; mine came from Outlet Trail and came in 5 days even with free shipping. Money well spent!!

I paid $170.00 for this with Free Shipping on Amazon. Although it wasn't Prime, it came in 2 days. The rack can support a lot of weight. It is easy to store if you don't want your gym taking up your entire basement. It has multiple positions from anywhere from decline, flat, and incline bench, to squats. It has a good solid construction well worth the money I paid. It is very durable. I think I used a 17mm 6 point socket for the bolts. I would recommend one and a wrench to tighten everything down. Overall, in the few initial times I have used it, the rack is exactly perfect form my needs. I just wanted to bench press, squat, and a few other exercises without taking up a lot of room. You can choose your own width it you want to press with Olympic width or something on the lines of midwidth for beginners.Stability:It was sturdy with a flat bench press of 225lbs. You can change the length of the base so that you have more front-to-back stability to prevent this rack from falling backwards. Placing a 25lb to 45lb weight on each rack offered me more front-to-back and side-to-side stability. I found that incline bench press was the only concern I had with stability. As the bar goes higher up, there is less support from the rack. I just took my time letting the bar down and controlled it into the rack which gave me no problems. This is what you should do anyway unless you are benching more than you are able to. I found that it does shake a little side to side if you are not steady letting the bar down on incline. On flat bench I did not have any problems. Placing a weight on the stansions helped the stability tremendously. I found there was little or no shaking of the rack. If you wanted extra stability you could always drill a bolt through it into your floor, but then it wouldn't be easy to take away and store.I highly recommend this product. Valor seems to make very good reliable products.

I have fairly extensive experience with home and professional gym equipment, so when I began to build my own home gym I knew I needed a squat rack. To save space, I wanted something compact but sturdy, and I also wanted it to work as a bench press rack. These squat racks serve my purposes perfectly. They don't take up much room, but they hold a lot of weight and adjust quickly and easily. I have 2 35lb plates on the bottom of each one, and the result is they are rock solid even with the arms at their highest holding over 200lbs on a bar. Are they as steady as a full size squat cage? No, but I imagine they will be more then adequate for most people. They were easy to assemble, easy to reposition, and I never worry about them while lifting. I highly recommend them and I would purchase them again if I ever need too.
