Liked the ability to thoroughly clean the inside of the black tank prior to parking for the season. The built in shut off valve is a bonus as well. Seems durable and well made.

Le tube est ok ,mais pourquoi utiliser une grosse boite avec beaucoup de plastique pour un petit tube de 40 pouces?

At first I was hesitant to buy this hose. Once I received it I immediately tried it out. It did a great job. I recommend it to anyone.

This tool really helped fix the dirty problem I had with my 5th wheel. After years of use our 5th wheel toilet had its first plugged up problem. I wasn’t sure what to do and Internet searches were all over the place with options. I took a chance and order this tool from Amazon. Shipping was next day and I put the tool to work as soon as I received it. It took about 5 minutes to run a hose from the outside tap into the bathroom of our 5th wheel, 15 seconds to attach the tool, then about 2 minutes to completely unblock and clean out the toilet. This tool was easy to use and will store away in our 5th wheel until it’s needed again. Needless to say I highly recommend this tool if you are having issues in your RV toilet.

After reading of others who experienced loss of the end sprayer, I added a hose clamp to the business end of this product and wrapped it in fresh electrical tape to cover the sharp edges that might catch on a pipe edge. I must say this device worked perfectly. The hose end did not leak and the shutoff valve was tight and secure. Our Dynamax Force has a 90 degree bend between the toilet and tank. On two occasions, we've had backups (with that nasty blow back that happens when a clog keeps water & air from flowing freely) that stopped us from using the toilet until we dumped (and well before it was 1/2 filled according to the gauge). Before I used this sprayer, I dumped the tank and ran the black tank wash for several minutes until clean water was coming out the drain hose. After using this sprayer as far down as I could get it through the open toilet and working it around to hit every crevice, the drain hose was spewing toilet paper and formerly clogged debris. My tank gauge had been showing 1/3 full even after a complete flush. Not now! The gauges reads correctly and I know the black system is very clean from the base of the toilet all the way down to the tank.I was certain to rinse off the sprayer nozzle and wipe the hose with soapy water before storing in the hose compartment. If we ever experience a "blow back" again, this will be my first remedy.

I bought this because my black tank does not drain well, partly because I believe the gate valve does not close properly. Blame Heartland and Camping World for that one. I tried a couple other wands like this one, but they did not work. Mainly because the full length was not flexible. One item I tried was the , the flexible hose was not long enough for my setup. It does have a spinning end, which the Valterra A01-0187V does not.I didn't bother with trying to run this from my bathroom faucet, that just wouldn't be enough water pressure. I ran a garden hose in through my bedroom window. Stick this wand down the toilet and try to listen for when the sound changes, then you'll know the end is in the black tank. It sprays water quite well, but does not rotate automatically as previously mentioned about another product. At first I just let the water run and went outside to see how well it was working. The water was not clear, but that is a good thing. Once I knew it was working, I let it run for a while then went back in the bathroom and ran the hose deeper into the tank then pulled back out a few feet and at the same time, manually rotating the hose for better coverage in the tank. Once I thought I did enough cleaning and the sensor showed the black tank empty, I pulled the hose out, making sure to rinse on the way out of the toilet.Oddly enough, my black tank shows 2/3 full only a couple days later. Is it 2/3 full? I doubt it. Can I prove it? No, I don't have a camera in the tank nor do I want to look inside. Are the sensors messed up? Probably. Eventually I plan to remove the tanks and directly plumb to the sewage pipe, but that is in the future.I also took the advice of another review and added a hose clamp to the end of mine, preventing the end from flying off and becoming stuck in the black tank. I definitely do not want to go fishing for that little piece on a Saturday.Overall, this works well to clean out your black tank, you just have to rotate the hose manually from the bathroom to really clean out the tank. Definitely recommended for cleaning out your tank.

Okay...I hope I don't gross anybody out in this review...but I must explain how wonderful this product is! Before I purchased this product I read all of the reviews and I have to admit, I was a little hesitant. Leaking around the connection and spraying water everywhere was not my idea of a fun time, but for the price and the fact that it was a PRIME product...I decided to give it a try. This was the problem: We bought an eight year old camper and after viewing some of the videos online about cleaning your black water tank...we knew we probably had a lot of stuff in our black tank that was probably dried and gross (told you this may get graphic)...since the previous owner had let the teens just hang out in the camper for over three years and never moved it. She mentioned casually that, "we had the sewer hooked up and everything." EEEeeewwwwhhh! in camper terms...that means they probably had the vent open and all the "liquid" stuff drained out leaving...well...leaving the "solids" to dry in the tank. That is where this wand came in to service....AND IT WORKED like a charm!!! We filled the black tank with water, drained it and then used this wand to blast all the stuff from the inside. The wand DID NOT LEAK and the nozzle (along with the little shut off value) was easy to control and didn't spray anywhere, except where it was suppose to spray. Without getting too graphic...you should have seen all the .... gunk that washed out of the tank! Lets just say, you don't know what you've got until you blast it with this wand. Works great, shipped quickly and a quality product!
