I have a little canon pixma printer/copier. It is a cheap little unit, but has been reliable and has served the purpose. I decided to buy this ink to try to save a little money compared to the official canon cartridges. Long story short, I am going back to canon carts. These carts work initially, but then after a little while the printer just stops recognizing them. The printer began flashing a code indicating that the ink carts were either installed incorrectly or were not the correct ink carts. No matter what I tried I could not get the printer to return to normal operation. There is no way the cartridges were simply empty; it just hadn't used enough for that. Some people appear to have had good luck with these. I guess my printer just doesn't really like them all that well. When I returned to official canon carts the printer got back to business as usual.

So I bought this 4500 HP printer like five years ago. Then I retired and rarely used the printer. Needless to say if you don't use a printer much the ink doesn't work properly or maybe it was just the ink that came with the product which was HPSo everything I needed printed I would need to send it email to work. I looked on Amazon and saw this ink listed that works on my printer. The ink arrived on time and then I said let's install which I followed the instructions. Printed off a test page. Perfect. Great ink for far less than HP ink. I'm very satisfied would highly recommend and will buy again

I bought both the re-manufactured HP 62 replacement color and black ink cartridge for my HP Office-jet 5740 printer last year. The printer accepted the black cartridge with no issue, but I had to reinsert the color cartridge 3 times before my printer recognized it. The color cartridge gave me problems and never did work These are certainly cheaper than the HP model! Fortunately each cartridge was less expensive than the HP cartridge version that prints 200 copies, so if they each give me more than 200 copies that's great! I am pleased with the black cartridge so far but very disappointed in the color cartridge - it never worked! I will buy the black cartridge only going forward!

Estos cartuchos NO son compatibles con la impresora ya que su sistema pone trampas para que NO detecte cartuchos genéricos. Ya hice todo lo que se sugiere en línea para resolver el problema y NO funciona. Tiré mi dinero.

The black ink cartridge needs to be cleaned (printer's feature to clean the print head) frequently else it doesn't print well. I've only installed the black cartridge so far and not sure about other colours.

I have been buying ValueToner for my Canon printer for about 2 years or so. Never had a problem. That is until this most recent purchase. I had the color cartridge in for a week or so and then when I turned my printer on to do some more printing I got an Error message - stating - in so many words - that this was not the correct cartridge. So I took it out and examined it. I noticed that the chip - the small gold squares on the front of the cartridge was different then the old cartridge. I figured that must be the problem. I went through Amazon to tell ValueToner of my problem. ValueToner responded very quickly! Wanted to get more information from me - I gave it and then they asked if I could send them a picture of what I was seeing. So I did. Along with the Black cartridge (this was the Combo purchase) that I had not needed at the time but I took it out of the package and placed it next to the Black cartridge from the printer. It was the same thing - missing some of the gold squares (see picture). And that in that same email they said that they are sending me replacement cartridges and I should receive them soon. I sent the picture to them. They again responded very quickly and said they sent the picture to the technical department and came back with that is the new way the ink cartridges are from now on.They asked me to give them a screen shot of the Error I was getting about it being the wrong cartridge. I went ahead and put that cartridge back in my printer - started it back up and went to the print document - and WOW! It was working. I tried several printings. Different documents. All of them worked. I obviously could not get a screen shot of the Error because for some unknown reason it was working. Why did it give me that Error? I replied back telling ValueToner that I was very sorry but everything was working and that I tried multiple times and I never got the Error again. I normally do regular troubleshooting - like taking it out and putting it back in - but I spaced it this time - I told them that and again I apologized and told them that I know that they sent replacement cartridges to me already and offered to send them back and questioned if I can send them back to the return address once I got the package. They said not to worry and to keep the replacement cartridges. Their Customer Service was Excellent. Not only in the quick responses but they never were talking down to me about the issue - they were truly concerned and wanted to understand and fix the problem. If anyone else has this problem I suggest that you do the simple troubleshooting that I forgot to do - take the cartridge out and put it back in!I highly recommend ValueToner for both their product but also for their outstanding customer service and will continue to be happy customer for my ink cartridge needs.
