This is the right idea, but it is too stiff, too long, and rough edged for me Would like to find one that is more like a stronger paper clip with rounded wire.

I'll do a first impression then come back after using it for a bit. I got it in the mail today 12/10/18.So when I first opened it I thought it was pretty neat! Little bigger than I expected which is a plus for me I was quite happy about that. Once I put money into it though (two 20s) it did fold it weird which is a little bit of a bummer but maybe a few more $$ and it'll fit better and not fold so weird. You can make it pretty flat by pulling the sides of the bill to straighten it but having to do that all the time and have it stay that way is going to be pretty annoying. We'll see though we've only just begun! I'll be back in a couple few weeks to let you know how it's working out and what I think about it after using it for a bit.Update 7-11-19I honestly barely used it. My son played around with it for a while now I have no idea where it went. It just held the bills too weird for me. If the bills lied flat it would've been much better but the weird fit and then putting it in your pocket just didn't feel right. Good luck with yours but there are much better choices out there.

I love stainless steel accessories. They wear well and don't tarnish. This is a very nice matte silver color, and isn't overly heavy for a solidly as it is made. I'm impressed with the quality and the price was very reasonable. I have seen other reviews expressing concerns that the fit is too tight or that it causes bills or cards to bend into a U-shape. What would you do if this were a regular paperclip in your office? You would bend it. And I did. The tightness is perfect for several bills now.

It's functional, simple, inexpensive and looks OK. I'd buy another if I were to lose this one.

Looks fine but you can only put a card and like 4-5 bills and watch out to not tear any bill when pulling from the clip.

Simple design. Does the job. It holds some cash folded over my license and credit card. Kind of a tight fit and I'm still working out a more graceful maneuver when paying for things, but for me thinner and lighter is better. Now to accomplish the same thing with my car keys.
