VAN DE VEN Cooling Facemask (AC/013)
The VAN DE VEN COOLING FACEMASK is meant to give support to the soft tissues of your face after surgery.
It keeps them in their desired position, prevents dead spaces and the creation of scar tissue in them and reduces postoperative swelling.
It has a pocket to insert a cold pack. It is advised to wear it as much as possible during the first 3 postoperative weeks.
The two models Van de Ven (AC/012) and the Van de Ven with cooling pocket (AC/013) for the face mask are the same size. Your surgeon will tell you if it is better to wear one or the other depending on the type of surgery.
There is an indicator on the garments (white strip with Velcro) that indicates proper tension. If it is too tight the Velcro will unsnap, if is too loose there will be a gap between the indicator and the garment.
This product is made in France.
Machine washable (low temperature), hang dry. (no dryer!)
