Too tight it did not fit the Specialize Rockhopper rim. Holding the adapter in my left hand and closing the snap gap with just finger pressure, I could not push the valve through. So even if I knock the adapter into the rim with a hammer, it would be even tighter. I paid $10 to have it shipped to me the next day but got it one day late. Total waste of time and money!

Tolerances appeared to be off for either the adapters or the valve stems or the adapters. The valves just wouldn’t go through.I need to look for another option.

These worked better than I expected. They do require a little effort to "snap" them into place. I had to use a piece of hard plastic to put over the adapter to push/pull them into the stem hole (plastic tire lever would work). I couldn't do it with my bare fingers. They do snap in very tightly and the presta valve stem fits inside the inner diameter perfectly. I was a little nervous about how hard the first one was to snap into place, but it is necessary, and they work perfectly. They blend into the rim pretty well and look good. If you are particular (like I happen to be) and want the "seam" to point a certain direction in the rim, be sure to line it up the way you want it to ride BEFORE you snap them in! They snap in super tight and don't move much after installed!

These didn't fit my schrader valve holes on a 650C wheelset. When I tried trimming one down and putting it into the hole, it went in but I couldn't get presta valve through without pushing out the adapter. Functionally these were useless to me.
