I am 5’1”, 135# and I bought size large. They fit perfect. Easy to put on, non-binding, lightweight, comfortable, breathable and smoothing on the figure. These are wonderful for wearing under above the knee dresses for modesty, especially in the wind and climbing stairs on cruises.

I purchased The Vanity Fair item to wear under fly-away lounging pants for a retro Palm Springs trip . This item is very comfortable, lightweight and fits fine except the waistband does roll a bit but not an issue enough to return them. Nice item to wear under dresses and skirts too!

The body portion of the shaper is great, and I would rate the body portion a 5 - stays up, good compression, gives notice shape and smoothness, and the silky material allows clothes to lay and move naturally over it. BUT, the legs roll up immediately once on and you start to move so, not only did my thighs rub together, but the rolled up material became tight and cut into the tops of my legs, where your legs meet your torso. I would rate the leg portion of this shaper a 1. That is why I gave an overall rating of a 3.

I wear a size 18w on the bottom currently, waist is 40” and hips are 50” and I got a 3x. Comfortable enough to wear all day and don’t dig or pinch. I’m 5’5. The waistband comes just above belly button and the thighs cover enough that I don’t get chub rub.No major rolling issues. The seam around the thigh will be visible under trousers if that bothers you. I don’t care so it’s fine for me.If you want something to really smooth you out and hold you in, this is not it, you need true shapewear for that. But under thicker fabrics or if you just don’t want to jiggle around, this does the job. And for under $10!!! Can’t beat it.

Material is Great! Not too thick, not too Thin. They are also very Stretchy and Surprisingly Comfortable. The Structure reminds me of Bicycle Shorts, with a higher waistline. They Fit is True to Size. I’m 5’9, weight 200 lbs.Since I had not bought any bottoms like these before, (I usually get the Tank top Style with open bra area) I ordered 1 size Larger than I usually would. I was afraid they’d be too tight on my Thighs, but no they weren’t. After wearing them 2x over tights, they stretched out a little making them fit Looser.However, that’s my goof for ordering a size up.So Order your Regular Size.

Lo uso para los típicos pantalones de ZARA de vestir que se transparente todo, son cómodos y buena calidad. Si se puede notar un poco en la parte de la pierna donde acaba depende del pantalón, no mucho, yo comoquiera lo uso.

I owned a pair of these some time ago and have no idea what happened to them. They were the older style with the lace band at the top and not hemmed on the legs. They were marketed under the Vassarette brand and I was having a hard time finding them to get more. Thank heaven I found they are now marketed under the Vanity Fair brand.These are meant to be worn under a dress in place of a regular slip. I started wearing them because I was tired of my half-slips getting twisted around my waist, slipping down off my waist, or riding too far up my waist. (First world problems, I know.)These are very comfortable and they stay in place. These are not meant to be shaping, which is part of the reason I like them so much. I generally don't like shape-wear because it digs into my skin and often creates a little roll of skin wherever it ends. (Um, isn't shape-wear supposed to smooth out the rolls, not cause them?)I am quite short-waisted so the waistband did roll once or twice, but rolled back on its own, no manual adjustment needed. My dress didn't cling to the fabric.I am 5'5" and at the time of purchase I weighed 145 lbs. I ordered a medium because I was headed out of town and didn't want to risk buying a large with no time to return if it was too big. The medium fit fairly well.
