Quality is ok, however the snap placement barely fit my 3 snap helmet. When it's attached, it DOES flip up like a visor. Tint is pretty dark. I haven't ridden at night yet, but it might be too dark night riding. I think I'll probably replace it with a better quality one later. For now, it beats nothing.

Lens quality seems ok. I think in Thailand it would be $3 but ….. lens tint is good. I’m flying with it!

I purchased this for my F14 Flight Helmet, I had the black dark tinted lens, and I wanted a Mirrored lens (Wish they offered an iridium lens!! How about that?) Anyway, I needed to remove the hinge this lens comes with and cut it to the shape of the flight helmet lens, but while it is about 1/2 to 3/4 inches shorter nose cut out to top of lens, its plenty long enough to fit without any problems and is nice and dark. Sun is not blinding with this mirrored lens. An actual flight helmet HGU33 lens runs around 350 to 650 dollars US. So getting this for a few dollars vs. all that LOOT needed to get the same one, Needless to say I am THRILLED this, while I needed to cut it and adapt it to fit properly, it works great, slides nice and smooth, installed the center bolt for the clamp on the helmet visor protector. I will be getting a 2nd one for my 2nd HGU 33 Helmet from the Grim Reapers Squadron VFA 101, I just replaced my black tinted lens for my VFA-84 and VFA-103 Jolly Rogers helmet. The attached photos will show you the fit and finish of the lens in my helmets. The lens arrived with no scratches, well packed, and a protective sheet of plastic over the mirror outside face, (no protection on the inside? why I do not know) The plastic is very clear, not distorted, nicely and evenly tinted and works in my helmet well. I did have to cut it, sand it smooth, remove any plastic burrs with 800 grit sand paper on the edges and the lens is perfect, smooth, no rough edges to hurt my hands or cut my nose etc. I am Very happy with this purchase and so pleased the cost was a few dollars vs. over $600 for a mirror lens from a flight helmet site.I cannot say how well it will hold up with rocks and pebbles and other road debris on a motor cycle helmet setup but I think it will stand up to quite a fair amount of abuse. It was VERY hard to cut with an air jig saw, was easier to use a whizzer wheel to cut it and then sand it with a die grinder cookie pad to shape it and then smooth it with 400-600 then finishing with 800 grit paper on the bottom and side edges so I would think typical small road debris will bounce off the front surface, I cannot answer if it will scratch easily or not. I covered mine with masking tape to cut it and sand it then peeled it off to protect it from scratches. But seems very durable. I hope this review has helped you with your helmet lenses and helmet projects. Best of luck!

I have had this visor for two months now and I have no complaints.Pros:Flips up and down.Fit perfectly on three visor snaps.Protects well from bugs, rocks, branches/tall grass that hit your face as you hug the white line for cars to pass on old country roads.Cons:None reallyThe sun does eventually set though the Rainbow tint visor is badass. But as you can see I bought yellow safety glasses from Harbor Freight for $1 for when a cloud makes it a little too dark and sun protection is not needed.

The concept is great and the design is pretty cool but the quality is garbage. The 3 snaps have some adjustability to match your particular helmet. But the snap buttons on the piece are all oversized so they don’t stay on the helmet. At best I could get two to stay on but if the helmet was jostled in any way, one or both would pop off. That goodness I never got it out on the road, it would have blown right off.Do not get this. I don’t know if any of the other versions are better but this one is bad.

The snaps are kinda hard to get snapped on a torq 3/4 helmet but once they snapped on they are very hard to get off. I ride 200 miles a day and haven't had a single issue with this. I also have a clear one

Likes:1- They are snap fit to just about any open face or 1/2 helmet with 3 snaps (multi use)2- They don't cover your whole face so they work well at protecting your eyes. if you already have a windshield on your bike. Without a windshield they will only protect your eyes3- Unlike helmets with built in goggles, these sit far enough from your face that they don't touch4- Easy to operate, raise, lower,5- Don't distort your view as some face guards do (remember to remove protective plastic)Dislikes:1- I had trouble with a couple of the snaps, had to re-roll the outer edges to get them to capture and hold , obviously this means there is no testing of the snaps after they are riveted in place during manufacturing, so you will have to check them yourself.. This is not uncommon with motorcycle helmet shields... but it is unsatisfactory...
