I really appreciate the largeness and weightiness of this set of tap and dies. I have owned others in the past that were small and made the job difficult. The size of the dies in this set make them easy to use when cutting new threads or in chasing threads.

Yes, I read where people have complained about the storage case and the dies falling out. Yes they do. Simple solution is store the case with the dies on the down side. The taps do not fall out. Taps and dies are good quality and work well. I actually used one at the plant for a one-time weird project that needed a big fine thread tap and it worked just fine in a Haas CNC machining center.For use in a home garage or machine shop, these are better than you will ever need and the whole set costs about what just a few of the big name taps or dies cost.
