This is a really strong rim. I use it for our tandem, and also for my touring bike. I built both wheels myself, and this rim trues up very well, maybe better than any other rim I've built with.

My favorite touring rim! Arrived quickly and in perfect condition! Laced it up with a Dynamo hub and it is solid.
