This St. Dymphna medal by Venerare is very pretty, well-detailed and sturdy, not thin. When these medals made by Venerare arrive the finish usually looks dull, but one can give them a beautiful shine by polishing them with gold/silver jewelry wipes. I would not put them in liquid metal polish as it might be too strong and ruin them. I would have given this purchase five stars, except I almost tossed the medal out as it was enclosed in a small plastic bag that got lost in the wrapping paper of a large Amazon box with several bigger purchases. I recommend the bag be stapled to a card, so one will not overlook it.

I hope it lasts long even while I shower before I have to start to clean it I'll see and then update... I don't plan on taking it off other then to clean it or if I have to do medical testing that requires me to remove it.
