I got the paddle kind because I don't have spools yet. I was sort of worried that the paddle arrangement wouldn't be sturdy enough because of some of the comments on the web. It works great. Easy to assemble. Very stable. Shipped in like, 4 days.

Easy to assemble and came quick. Great price and works great, not as sturdy as say a pit bull but less than half the price. It is sturdy though however because it's a two piece stand it is slightly less sturdy but worked great to hold my bike up for a couple weeks while I replaced tires, bearings and chain also using an RK chain tool and chain also from Amazon.

Fits my '08 KTM 990 Superduke like a glove! Very sturdy lift for a great price. I would trust it enough to leave my bike up all the time while in the garage. Also I managed to raise and lower my bike by myself, although it was a little easier with a buddy. It made changing the oil easier than it would be on the kick stand and made chain maintenance a breeze!I didn't want to invest in spools for my bike and an expensive lift... What if I decide to get a new bike next year? This product was a perfect compromise. It will probably work on my next bike too! (Unless I take a leap to the breathtaking 1290SDR with a single swingarm)Note for the manufacturer: Maybe wrap the level up in a safer place. Mine was busted when I opened the box. Not a big deal though. I'm pretty sure my garage is on a slight slope anyway.

I got this stand for my GSXR 600 K7 and i love it. I read some of the reviews before i got it and some of them complained about the build quality and wobble on the stand. I have not experienced any of this the build quality is top notch and yes you do have to assemble the unit but it couldn't be easier, theirs two bolts that you have to tighten and the paddles have to be slid into place and secured with another bolt when you get your motorcycles width adjusted. As long as you tighten up the bolts you will have a solid unit with no wobble. Its made from quality metals and doesn't feel or look flimsy. I honestly would say it could compete with more expensive units sold on specialty websites. For what you pay this is an amazing unit with a great price! I would definitely buy this again.

I bought this stand for my 2014 Ninja 1000, after having difficulty finding spools to fit the swingarm tabs. As noted in other reviews, this stand is very solid, and easy to assemble, with a nice finish and quality hardware. For my particular bike, there is only about a half inch of extra clearance along the swingarm for the pads to fit, as it is clearly designed for a spool lift. With that said, though, with the bike straight up, it is easy to slip the stand into place and lift it, and it holds it very steady. You do have to remove the springs from the pad axles given the width of the swingarm, but once you get the pads set to the right width, you tighten then into place, and you are good to go. All in all, for the price, this is an excellent buy!

The stand came exactly as advertised. The tubing feels sturdy enough if you are using it to prop up your bike once in a while for a chain clean or swing arm adjustment. If anything feels to be of lesser quality, it's the casters. The bolts came with crush washers to prevent marring the tubing when tightening. The one downfall is that the instructions were clearly photocopied out of a manufacturer hand out, and were actually for the spooled stands rather than the paddle stands. There was no info on manufacturer warranty, and at this price it may be a bit worrisome relative to the tried-and-tested (and spendy) pitbull stand.Assembly was a piece of cake. Took 10 minutes. Just be sure to match up R/R and L/L stickers for the lever-arms.My Ducati Monster 696 2012 has no spools nor center stand. The paddle model is the perfect fit. In order to work the lift onto the swing arm, I placed a textbook under the kickstand. The book was only slightly thicker than 1 inch. This enabled me to work the paddles under the swingarm. I did not use screws to secure the paddles at any particular distance, since I preferred the spring action to keep them snug against the swingarm. I set the bike down gently with the kickstand out on the same textbook. The stand is not collapsible, but that's actually kind of a good thing. I'd rather have a space hog than something that might fold-up trying hoist my bike up for work. A cheaper option might be the harborfreight one, but it requires spools which may quickly offset the price.

It gets the job done. It flexes and wiggles. Once the bike is in place it gets a lot more stable. The pins don't turn well. While putting it in place I have to hand turn the padded pins to sit flush on my swing arm. The springs they come with will last for ever but they are over kill - and they are the reason the pins wont freely rotate. But there is so much flex to the arms themselves I would remove the springs. What I mean by flex is you can push and pull the arms together or apart from each other. In total they have about 4 inches of movement (2in per arm) side to side. If there was a cross brace between the wheels or something connecting the wheels it would likely stop that flexing. I feel safe leaning my bike up on this for a couple weeks at a time if you had too. I sat on my bike and bounced up and down while It was on it.
