they are perfect. take up less space than a traditional door for odd sized openings. gave me an extra inch or two to get a walker through the doorway and I don't have to deal with handles, etc. while trying to get through the door yet get privacy when I need or want it. Tip: check the material of the 'curtain' to make sure you can't see through it with lights on. Room darkening or black out curtains do great. Some shower curtains also work well with their liner. Bought 4 of these (came in pairs) Currently using 3 and loving them.

The rods look nice, but are basically useless. They do not support any weight and bend.
