- Unlike other partition walls, the VersiPanel meets the floor directly from end to end, keeping sound confined. This is a very professional, high quality acoustical wall. I tested its acoustical performance using a pink noise setting on a large speaker set that was located 5 ft from the wall's surface. We then measured with a sound level meter at 5 ft back from where the source was placed and then 10ft back from the source, etc so that we got measurements just behind the wall and then 5 and 10 ft back from the wall. We first tested with an empty room to measure the background reflections of the room at 70 dBA. We measured a fairly consistent 16 to 18 dBA reduction in noise level across the measured distances at different sound levels. Aside from sound performance it is also very convenient to use. It is heavy but just light enough where one person can lift it with some effort. It rolls up completely into a roll which makes it able to fit inside most passenger cars without the need for a special van, and it has durable plastic end caps that protect it from being skidded across the floor. It is also remarkably stable as you can see in the photo, still standing up completely fine even when nearly straight. Besides for professional audio use it also makes a great barrier to place in front of a window in the direction of traffic noise to mute the sound of traffic in bedrooms. It has excellent aesthetics and is also easy to velcro additional attachments to, such as hooks to hold props and costumes or patches to identify ownership. The wall is also just about the size of one side of a pop up canopy tent, so if you have walls to protect them from rain they can be a nice addition to making a canopy not as noisy at the fairgrounds and make customers feel more comfortable. The build and construction of it seems sturdy and well protected so it seems to travel well without much risk of damage even when dropped or rolled around, although dirt and mud does stick to it readily.

Instant Sound Booth in the right environment. Love how it srands up, and can be shaped.Does a great job of reducing echo and backgrond noise. built.I think its a little more than I'd like to pay for this, but I can't find any faults in it, and I think it has its merits, over acoustic foam with set up. Very pleased it. 👍

I have purchased three panels at $1300 plus each. The first two came very late, in one shipment; the third in a separate shipment. I have yet to receive the third, despite being present when shipping has twice said the business was closed. The first two were delivered almost a week late after numerous discussions (over four hours with Amazon support in online chat and phone) specifying there is NO WAY the business was closed as it is open 24/7. CAUTION. Further, the video is misleading. The panels are 70 pounds. A 5’2 athletic woman will most likely need assistance to balance and stabilize the panels. The magnetic buttons work IF you can get the panels aligned, which must be a two-person job for a petite individual due to the panel’s 8 foot height. Check reviews thoroughly for the stability feet which can be purchased separately; the recommended sets are plastic and not sturdy. Overall: BEWARE of shipping and delivery drama. Do not expect this product timely. Ensure two people are available if you are not tall. Recommend consideration for a different acoustic panel system. I will most likely be cancelling the panel I have not yet received. The expense is not worth the numerous issues. Good luck.

I record voice overs, and my "recording booth" is an acoustically treated room that's about 10 ft. X 12 ft. It's taken a LOT of acoustic treatment to dial in my sound the way I want it. Everything was great when I recorded sitting down, but when I recorded standing up, I noticed I was still getting some room echo. I needed something to absorb sound that was tall and in front of my desk. Originally, I used a ratty quilt thrown over a green screen stand and propped up on an upside-down plastic bin. It worked, but it was so unattractive and unstable.When I had the opportunity to try out this VersiPanel acoustic partition, I was super excited. It's the perfect size to stand in a C curve from one side of my desk to the other side, and the height is perfect for when i'm standing up to record. I thought I'd need some special accessory to get the panel to stay in a C curve without falling over, but that isn't necessary. It stands up great on its own and I'm not worried about it falling on the dog.The whole panel rolls up and fastens with a velcro fastener so it's easy to store in a corner if you're not using it regularly. I like that it has plastic caps on both the top and bottom so it's more stable. Unfortunately, because the caps are plastic, a couple broke during shipping, but it's just cosmetic damage. There are four large rare earth magnets embedded in each side of the panel in case you want to connect more, but one panel is perfect for my space.Now, to speak to how it performs acoustically. I wish I could give you some actual quantifiable numbers of the amount of sound dampening it does. I don't have any data other than to tell you that it significantly cuts down on room echo. And honestly, I've had more work since I put it up. Coincidence? Perhaps. Perhaps not. For sure it makes a difference in my sound. And it looks really nice, too.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this panel and feel very fortunate to be able to share my experience of it with you. I feel like I have a more professional studio as a result of it.
