Got this to keep the renters across the alley of off my garage (they already hit it twice). So far there haven't been any issues since these things are super bright.I recommend getting the suggested bolts from Vestil and renting a rotary hammer (I already had one) because it will take forever with a hammer drill putting that wide of a diameter bolt in. The bolts on amazon look way smaller than they actually are so dont be put off by the pictures.Finally, the dome covers are really nice if you can afford it. I purchased eleven of these to line a bank with a steep drop off. I attached a 5/16 inch chain thru eyes which I inserted and welded thru drilled holes 6 inches from the top and strung the chain on the impact side of the pipe.I set the drop in the chain and welded it to the eyes. Pipe was good quality strong steel. I attached the pipes using 1/2 anchor bolts to the top of 12 inch round concrete forms 3feet deep and later filled the pipes with concrete. I hope it does not get much use but it does appear to be a secure barrier for car safety at low speeds turning around in a back yard..

Purchased to protect an electric charging station. Thick gauge. In between emt and rigid. Powder coated even on interior so no gal spray needed. Thick enough gauge that it was debatable on whether to fill with concrete or not. I opted for sand to offer a little more strength and to eliminate the hollow sound when banged on. Best part is the bottom is sealed so you don't have to worry about sand or cement oozing out the bottom. There is a decorative plate accessory that covers the anchors but you can save money if you paint them with safety yellow paint, they will look good enough to keep exposed. 1 last thing. I bought these as a replacement for a previous purchase through another company. The first order arrived as 3 bollards in 1 box. They were loose and got dented and scratched in transit. Fast forward to these bollards... I received them in individual, sealed, boxes. No dents, no scratches.

Solid unit. Purchased 2, for a customer needing indoor ( garage) stairwell protection from a vehicle collision event. Solid steel construction, good paint finish, and safety marker tape. Only suggestion I have, (yes, I used the 4 concrete bolt holes as well) would be to drill a centered 7/8" hole in the base plate for 3/4"rebar to tie in the concrete floor and post.
