As many others have stated, I used another brand for years and suddenly they changed the formula and my cat would not touch it! This is a tiny bit thicker than the other paw gels original formula but the same color and smell and my cat gobbled it right up and gave me winkies. So far, so good! Pleased I found this formula and thankful for the reviews that let me know it was like the other brands original formula ππ

I bought this as a replacement for the other brand I used to get. She loves it! It's creamy and it also has the ingredients in it that is good for her skin and coat.

The old product we were using changed formula and cats won't tough it. This product is the same as the old product and cats will eat this one like a snack.

For many years, I used a different company for this product for my catβs urinary tract problem. It saved his life and then they changed the formula. He would not even touch the stuff!so I am very thankful to have found this company and my cat is very happy with the flavor and the texture. So I highly recommend it.

I've bought paw gels with maple flavor and my cat won't touch them. My aging cat does eat this. I can't speak to if it's making any difference to her urinary tract, yet.

my cats did not like and would not choose so I canβt say anything about the quality and effectiveness

My cat must be given a pill twice a day, 12 hours apart; not something she enjoys. But a tasty treat after the nighttime dose makes things easier for both of us. I refer to this fish-flavored "paw gel" as salmon mousse. Rather than play the dirty trick of getting it on her paw, I squeeze some onto a white plastic spoon. After the pill, she gets to lick her salmon mousse treat from the spoon. And she does, with gusto. This product contains ingredients known to be helpful with urinary tract health, which can be a problem in cats getting up in years. It's a diet supplement, not a medication. That's good because so far there's no indication my cat has a urinary tract problem. It's possible that because I'm in the second year of giving this gel (and sometimes a similar product from another manufacturer) that it has some value as a preventative. But I have no way to know that for sure. I do know my cat enjoys it and that it helps her to have a softer, shinier coat.

I don't know if I got a bad one or what but it's runny and stinks. Definitely not a gel and the cats won't touch it.
