I haven’t mounted this vice up or used it yet, but everything seems OK so far. The paint quality looks like it might flake off early, but I really don’t care. If it loses that much pain looks that bad. I’ll just repaint myself.. but it seems decent and everything works on it and the threading is clean.

Nachdem ich einen 100mm (Backengröße) blauen Mannesmann Schraubstock wegen vielen Beanstandungen zurückgesendet habe, habe ich mir diesen Schraubstock bestellt. Der passt, geht Leichtgängig hat keine Roststellen und der Lack blättert nicht ab. Sogar 8 Schrauben zum befestigen liegen bei. Ich bin mit diesem Schraubstock mehr als zu zufrieden.

Een deugdelijk stuk gereedschap. Doordat hij draaibaar is heb ik hem op de verste hoek van de werkbank gemonteerd. Op die manier is het nooit een sta in de weg.

No es para dar golpes fuertes ni nada parecido para eso hay que comprarse otra mejor, pero si solo vas a usarla como yo para sujetar cosas y para manipular es perfecta, veremos lo que dura, luego otra cosa, el tamaño es muy pequeño cosa que me gusta.si la usas para dar golpes fuertes te va durar media hora.

I can't speak enough on how well this product has been made. It's of the highest grade steel it's on a swivel and even came with bolts to secure it to the table. I highly recommend it if you're looking for advice to use every day. It's a great buy!

I am a retired automotive repair tech. I have seen many cheap vises in my time. I was wanting just a light duty vise with which to help with some of my hobby projects and to hold my mower blades for sharpening. I was SHOCKED when I found how heavy this little vise is! it operates very smoothly and holds well. The lock on the swivel also holds tight. I have seen many cheap vises that will loosen up on their own and rock back and forth on the swivel base even when the lever is locked down tight. This one does not do that at all. about the only "defect" I can see is that the replaceable jaws do not fit correctly on the sides. One is too long on one side and the other is too long on the other side. (see Photos) But that is not a huge issue in my opinion. Also, I tried "flipping" them to get them to line up with each other, but they cannot be installed upside down, so that squashed that idea. they could be ground flush with each other if it becomes an issue for some reason. Also, I found that the pipe gripping teeth below the main jaw held very well without having to tighten it too much on some 1/2 inch metal conduit. The anvil does not look like it would take a lot of abuse. it is kind of thin. There is not a lot of mass there. Although it could be used with a light hammer to straighten some small things, like maybe nails? All in all, I think that this little vise is fairly well built and is a very good value for the money.

This is a nice vise at a low price. Comes with hardware to install. Only shame is that washers are not included. Put some washers on the underside to ensure a good spread of mounting force. Also not included are soft, plastic jaws to put over the metal ones to hold things you don't want to scratch. Can be bought separately though.
