Easy to set up and use. The remote works very well. My only complaint would be not knowing where the unit is set when using the remote. You have to look at the readout. Would also like it if it were a little more fuel efficient.

these are outlawed in europe for some reason replaced by a more fire destruction model fueling system. this one has worked very well, it keeps my green house warm in winter, and i can easily move it to other spots should that be needed.it is fuel friendly, runs on a lot of different oils, the btu may suffer if you use cooking oil. however some experimenting souls have mixed various oils with different results.you need a 12 volt battery and the exhaust does get hot, it will melt plastic or start a fire if on wood, so keep that in mind.you would have to pry my dead fingers off it if you wanted it. this one is not for sale, also, and this is key, parts are easy to replace if ever needed and inexpensive

I hooked it up to an old lawnmower battery and 6 amp battery charger and ran it in my shop (an old farmhouse) for over 24 hours, on low it kept the temperature from falling below 50F while it was 33F outside and WINDY all I really want is to keep the temps above freezing so I think this will do the job.

Have only used it once but it did a great job. I purchased a metal table that mounts on the tire to hold the heater and that worked great when using a 90 degree attachment on the exhaust pipe so I could route the exhaust out the bottom of the heater without having to cut a hole in the table. I purchased a Y adapter so I could heat two vehicles park side by side. I haven't had a chance to use that yet but this thing will easily heat to cars. Really nice waking up in the roof top tent and not have any condensation inside!Only downside is that diesel fuel will leak out the gas cap if it sloshes around while your driving on bumpy roads or going off-road, smelly and annoying.

First off, this did put out decent heat, and was a perfect fit for what I wanted it for, but it only burned 1/2 tank of fuel before it became a useless pile of junk that nearly caused death for all of the plants that were trying to get a head start on spring in my greenhouse.Review:Manual was unreadable, and the controller functions in the manual don’t work with the control unit I received. I can’t get it to program at all now, after initial set up (it did work and come on as designed on the first startup). The only thing I changed as far as the install, is that I put in an inline fuel filter so it would always have clean fuel. It worked great for about a 1/2 tank of fuel that I purchased from the fuel station. Now it will not start. It only blows white smoke. I believe the glow plug does not heat properly anymore. It is most likely coked up in the ignition chamber (you can see the black nastiness in the muffler pic). This is after only burning 1/2 a tank of fuel, WTF? This is installed in an open area inside a greenhouse. Air intake is inside, and exhaust is outside. This is a very simple heater, but I was warned before my purchase that these are not worth it, and now I’m paying the price. It’s snowing outside and I’ve now resorted to heating my greenhouse with an expensive propane heater. Thanks For wasting my time and money Vevor.

I bought it for an off grid shop heater. (Solar on a battery bank). This is an exceptionally great heater. Takes a few minutes to get warm, when it does warm up. It gets very toasty quickly. Takes some practice to get used to the settings and learn the placement. The thermostat works by pulling internal air out of the room. The first choice of installation was to put it outside and it wouldn't kick off. I have since moved the unit to inside the shop and run the muffler and exhaust outside. The muffler port is near the vent hose in the front of the machine. The intake line port is in the rear. The instructions were pretty vague on which one is which. The exhaust from the muffler is very hot, do not place pipe or muffler near flammable objects.

I see the majority of RV'ERS highly recommend these diesel heaters. Perhaps I got the one that wouldn't. BUT, Amazon support tried putting me in touch with the warehouse. They had no idea what to tell me. Amazon support monitored the call and got right on it. They issued me full credit and since it had diesel in it. Told me to donate it, keep it, or whatever I wanted. Can't beat the customer service I promptly got from Amazon. Thank you very much.

This heater has been a game changer for me and camping. It is extremely efficient, uses very little fuel and battery usage (external battery) but still puts off a ton of heat. I use it in a rooftop tent and as you can see from the photos it kept my tent at 70° and it was 20° outside. Keep in mind that this all in one heater is technically meant to be mounted so that the exhaust can come out the bottom and through the floor of a van or RV, or something like that. This is why I blocked mine up on 2x4’s so that I could sit in the back of my truck while running and not burn my truck bed, also make it more portable. The air duct hose that comes with it is not long enough for my application so I did have to purchase the 3 inch white hose that you see in the picture. The remote that comes with it works amazing as well, I thought I would have to stick my arm outside the tent for it to pick up, but that is not the case. The user manual is almost useless as it is poorly translated from another language. I HIGHLY recommend running the heater outside in the open for 12+ hours before actually using it to heat up a tent or space needed. This will allow it to burn off that “new” smell and not fill your tent or other area up with the strong odor. It is not exhaust fumes but it just has a strong odor for the first day or so of use… FYI. I would buy this heater 10 times again without hesitation!!My stats:12v power - I use a Jackery 300 battery pack and it has about 40% left after running the heater on #2 or 3 setting all night (1 is the lowest and 6 is high) for around 10 hoursFuel consumption- Heater has a 5L or 1.3gal tank, it uses less than half a gallon per night at the above settings
