Who is this for : Students, Hobbyists.You get a dual mechanical stage, bifocal microscope with condenser. Most of the features in this microscope is at par with $300 brand microscope (like AmScope, Swift). What you trade is the quality of achromatic objectives, but for students/Hobbyists/begginers the quality of the image is sufficient. There's tons of DIY upgrade potentials due to the (sturdy) built of this device.The set that I bought had issues with the phone holder which was too small for the scope, and a potential contamination issue with the slide covers within the complementary slide preparation kit, some cosmetic damages. But it did not hinder the quality of images. (I took the pictures by holding my phone up to the eyepiece with my hands, hence the pictures are a bit blurry)
