Junk. It has a wobble & when I tried to get the issue resolved they said return it to Amazon after 2 days of having me adjust the legs and fix it myself. This is not worth buying.

The size is perfect for the apartment, how ever no bat pins. .. the one I have doesn't have a lot of torque, but it is fine to pull up unlimited pieces of work.. very satisfied for the price point

It’s good for kids, but I don’t think it would work for anything other than play. No room for water bucket or tools. It’s not adjustable and very low to the ground. The plastic tub around the wheel is pretty flimsy but easy to remove and clean.

I have been doing pottery on and off for the past 10 years. During that time I have either signed up for classes or joined studios but it's always so expensive! I now have access to a friend's kiln but I am in no place to drop $1,000 on a nice wheel so I decided to try my chances with this one. I was tentative because I've only used studio wheels but I am honestly so impressed with this little wheel! It is very small and doesn't use bats which I decided that I like. Bats always seem to be wobbly and throw the piece off center but I don't have that problem with this wheel! It is a little rickety when you first put your foot on the peddle but if you keep it there all is good. All in all I am very satisfied for the performance and value! It's definitely not a nice studio/ professional wheel but for what it is it's wonderful! I recommend this wheel if you love pottery and are on a budget.

After taking a pottery course for a year, I wanted to get a wheel for home use. So I searched. After testing out four almost identical wheels in construction online, boxed kind, all from Amazon, this is my conclusion. This was not a straightforward purchasing process. It seems the same items are priced differently depending on whom you buy from. I bought one that cost around $200, $170, or $130. The more expensive ones gave me more problems, believe it or not. I started with the $200, thinking that it might have better motors or something. Nope. They look identical if you flip them and look at the mechanics below. It was a bewildering buying process. This is the best machine of the bunch, and I am delighted with it for the following reasons below. I have used it for over a month.1. This is an 11"/ 28 cm Electric Pottery Wheel Machine with a larger surface area to throw. Most are 10"/25 cm. The extra inch made a difference in what I could throw. This wheel was leveled, something not to be taken for granted that other reviewers also mentioned.2. Basin is easy to take apart and put together, and the design differs from the others I struggled with. See comparison photo.3. It comes with the foot already attached. The other three, I had to screw them in and balance. See photo.4. You get lots of extra tools for free.5. This is helpful to save money: they charge you depending on the most popular color. The same machine costs anywhere from $170 to $130. I got a red one and paid $130.
