I tend to change and adapt products that are IMHO poorly designed. This is not one of those products, and best of all the installation is so quick and easy. I am so happy with my purchase, and that’s something I don’t get to say very often.

I use a lot of straps on my trailer and these are great for storing and organizing items in the bed of your truck. Love the way they swing - make getting stuff out a breeze. Semi-complicated to install but after install...can't go without them!

Latching bracket didn’t fit my 2021 Silverado 1500 and clearly shows it fits. I cut and bent bracket to fit…. Which takes more time then u think.The box seems well built.Was hoping it mounts further out of the way/more inside of wheel arch would being better.

These boxes seem to be all the same ARE, VEVOR and SwingBox. The VEVOR at half the price seems to be the best deal. The instructions show you all the parts but don't tell you what they are for. I watched a couple Youtube videos and found my hinge was same as the youtube video I watched for my style pickup but not the same on other styles. There were rubber bumpers in the kit that would work if my hinge worked the right way, others had a plastic retainer clip to hold the hinge in a per-existing hole. This was the only hole I had, others had no drill installs. I ended up using a retainer from a golf cart I had laying around along with tape to make sure it was going to work. I confirmed the whole thing would mount and work with the parts I had even though the hinge was on the wrong way. If the hinge was on like others the rubber bumper goes in a hole so when the hinge closes it has a rubber bumper to dampen it. You can see on mine when the box swings into the bed the hinge is on the wrong side. This also makes the "locking" feature not work so I am not able to lock the box in my vehicle, not a big deal to me. It all works very well, I don't need to lock it, I have a bed cover, I can take it right off and put it in the pickup if I need to as well. I have been trying to contact support for a couple weeks now and nothing. I would like to see if this is just how it works in this model vehicle or if I got the wrong hinge and if I replace it then it would work like normal. I am kind of thinking it works like this on these vehicles because where the hinge mounts on the bed it is super skinny and this is how the other side mounted for the guy in the youtube video that installed one. Other vehicles have a few inches of depth and the hinge plate is way different on the Youtube installs. The guy that did the install on my year didn't mention anything about not being able to use the lock feature or that there was no where to use the rubber bumpers that came in the kit. If I do have the wrong hinge and I can fix this issue, I should be able to take the latch part off that is inside the bed and flip it 180 to move it closer to the tailgate so it still latches without having to drill more holes everywhere! Overall this thing is great. I don't think it would last long for a contractor using it day after day but it is great for me, should last a long time. Gets the jack and handles out of the cab, gives me a place to store straps, ice scrapers, trailer wiring stuff, gloves and all kinds of stuff. I will updated this review when and if I ever hear from support.

It says it’s compatible to a 2022 sirrra but the locking bracket has to be located in the bed, near the wheel well in a place with a contour that won’t allow it to be mounted. Good box. Just fit was off by an inch
