I had severe tennis elbow pain before using the grip. The pain decreased a lot after about 5 months of use.I think the Replacement Grip will only use this grip in the future.I really want to use the leather grip next time. If Aubergrip is sold again. It's a little expensive, but I'll have to use it.There are many people in Korea who don't know well, so we are promoting the effect, but many elbow patients have difficulty with overseas purchases. I'm going to have a tennis shop soon, and I'm thinking of promoting and selling it at that time.

I didn’t like the standard grip on my recently purchased rackets. I used an overgrip but didn’t like the increased diameter.I’m an old-school guy and yearn for leather grips. VT Advantec grips sounded intriguing; so, I bought a pair.I’m not sure if the grips really provide much dampening. And, they just are not that comfortable. Also, $35 seems to be pretty pricey. So, (1) horrible feel and thinner than most leather grips; (2) claims about dampening ability are very questionable; and (3) they are pretty expensive.

I have been using them for over a year now.. and I am very pleased with the quality of it.They do dampen the vilbration , and still have a good amount of feel , pretty much the same as leather grips. The replacement grip is very easy to apply, very durable, and feels very good at the hand.

Hi Friends, i just used the Vibration Dampening Cushion grip. I was very excited use it after reading great reviews. The Grip does what its intended for , removes the Handle Vibration to Great extent. I was very happy with reference to the functionality. But the racket feel is completely gone, i felt the racket was too much dampened & muted feeling. I couldn't get the normal play from my racket. Am i the only one feeling the muted feeling or is it for everyone. I just came back from 2 hrs play and immediately removed the grip. I'm fine with little pain in my wrist & elbow but i cannot sacrifice my game or the satisfaction feel the racket gives. Once again there is nothing wrong in trying this grip, because everyone has different objective . It didnt work out for me. Thanks

VT Advantec leather grips are among my favorites. I’ve bought them three separate times (5 grips total) to replace the stock synthetic grips that come standard on new rackets. What I like most about them are (1) the soft feel of the thin leather and (2) that, once wrapped, they will lay near perfectly flat. I also love that they only add about 6 grams over stock synthetic replacement grips, rather than the 12-14 grams of some other brands, leaving more room for customization.Lastly, I would emphasize their great customer service. I had a problem on one order with damage to grips I received. Advantec’s customer service group replaced them for me. It was refreshing to encounter a company that is still willing to stand behind their products.

a few years ago, I started to have golfer's elbow. I have almost started to play lefty. I used gut strings while healing. Then I seems to be able to play gut/ multi hybrids and eventually gut/ very soft poly but it would hurt my elbow. With this grip, I feel very connected to the ball while at the same time feeling a low vibration. I used the leather grip which is thin and dropped my grip size by about a 1/2 size which was great for me. Now I'm back to gut/ stiff poly with no elbow pain and my game is back.

Expensive? Yes. Also, a little thinner than most and you very well might notice that. I actually opted to use a half size heat shrink sleeve to get my grip size where I want with these grips but this is now my preferred way to do things.I'll explain. A half size heat-shrink sleeve gives your handle a perfect surface for installing a grip and these VT Advantec leather grips don't use an adhesive to install. Instead, they use an innovative and tacky dampening material which I've grown to love. The weight is about the same as a standard leather base grip. My heat shrink sleeve adds 10g and this allows for a very evenly distributed weight increase in the handle and I love it.The feel is excellent. While I wouldn't recommend reinstalling it a bunch of times, I have done so and it's so much nicer to do than a standard leather with adhesive backing. At the end of the day, you're only paying about twice as much for a grip that certainly justifies the price. It's just one of those things that many people don't appreciate because the innovation goes under their radar or over their heads, which makes me wonder why they got it in the first place. I feel the negative reviews are somewhat missing the point but to each their own.But do keep in mind it might be noticably thinner but this could be a great thing for some. Consider my solution to this with the heat shrink sleeve (half size, should be white) because the benefits of both are something to check out sometime if you're up to experimenting a bit and maybe finding a setup you prefer to whatever you're doing now.Not sure if I'll ever go back to regular leather grips again. I was always a leather base grip guy since switching but now, I imagine I might be a VT Advantec leather grip guy.Maybe you're next in line to join the club! Give it a try. Hopefully my thoughts help provide an optimal experience with a grip that offers something nobody else does. For what it's worth, I do play a pretty high level of tennis. Subtle changes to anything regarding my setup is noticed and the changes this brought are changes I appreciate and prefer.
