Have trusted Victagen over many years with their lighting systems on my recumbent trike.K2D is still my favorite as it threw enough beam and width for my uses. Did not need more than 2400 lumens, and could ride on mid-beam for upwards of 8 hours on a third-party external 20,000 mAh battery.Victagen contacted me about this light. Light output is quite phenomenal for its small package. However, power suffers drastically with the included battery. Custom Service says the battery needs to be recharged before use, every use.When riding I prefer the Low Beam setting for the widest possible beam output, even though it is more of a yellowish color. In rural or darkly lit places this is my preferred mode. Higher setting is better, yet have to run on a medium setting to get more life from the battery. Only wished there was a higher capacity battery available as most only last 5 years.The higher beams are great to throw light a great distance. Beam is rather narrow, and does well on paved roads. On rural or dirt roads the higher beams just fail to be bright enough. Then too, the higher beams use far more battery and I could only get 2 hours before the light went out. Not fun having the light go off when in traffic or riding up a hill. Thus one needs another light for backup, or more external battery packs.I like to ride 4+ hours at a time, yet when I just get to my destination where light is needed most the battery dies without warning. There are no intermittent flashes to alert the rider (as with other lights).Had contacted Victagen to purchase more of their batteries. While they do recognize this light uses more battery power they still do not offer extra batteries for sale. Customer Service offered me a $15 discount if I wanted to buy another light for an extra battery.Would of prefer to go back a K2D if they were available. Would of liked a revised version of the K2D using the buttons of this model, perhaps with more modern light output. 3,000 lumens maybe? I do not need mini-spotlights for a headlamp. And a battery that can last a few hours, or a few rides. Commuters need battery life, as well as folks like me who spend the summer nights under the stars, riding when it is comfortable. Trail riders have lights that last for many hours to travel 30 miles. This light seriously lacks endurance.And lastly Victagen still has yet to manage battery life when not in use. The battery needs to be removed when not in use, or the light will will drain the battery fast. The battery itself drains slowly over time - not sure why that is if it is not connected to anything. Am not convinced the battery is 10,000 mAh. Feels more like 5,000 mAh.As for the metal clamp, there is a set pin that can be removed to adjust for smaller mounts/handlebars. You'll need a hard surface, a pin removal tool and hammer. The mount is quite nice and does not swivel.In conclusion, while the light has great power modes, getting that extra power needed to run the light for more than a few hours is the greater challenge.

This is a very bright light. Great headlight for night riding. Lots to like about it. It has the battery strength in it so you can easily track battery use. It is easy to install, very sturdy, and very functional. Has different buttons to focus the light differently and attaches very securely once installed with no vibration. I would recommend this to fellow bicycle enthusiasts

When I turned this light on I was instantly amazed by how bright it was. I really like how it displays the battery percentage. This is probably one of the best bike lights I have ever owned due to its design, price, and functionality.

I use this light as a helmet mount with a go pro helmet attachment ( not supplied). It is great and do far works great. I would recommend this light.

This bike headlight and rear bike light is the best money I have bought for my bike.The headlight is rechargeable and is easy to put on your handlebars. The headlight will charge for 4-5 hours and it takes about 1 hour to recharge the headlight. I don't know if it is 12,000 lumens, but it is as bright as a normal car highlight and is easy to be seen at night. The Headlight also have 5 different phase of light and also a dimmer. It also covers wider areas.The rear light is really cool. It has The headlight is great, but the rear backlight have 5 different colors. It is solid Red, Alternate blinking Red, Solid Blue, and Alternating Red and Blue blinking light. It is not as bright as the Headlight, but i am 200% safer with the Headlight and Rear lights and the Headlight is been seen within 1000 feet.The lights are easy to install in 5 minutes the first time. It takes 1 minute to put the lights into the bike body forward. The plastic on the Headlight bottom is easy to break the plastic guide under the headlight.I have easier saved 10-20 batteries in a month with the recharging light with a USB-USC cables. This is $75-$125 at a bike store and Victagen was $39. Best money I have ever spend as an outdoor Light biker. Thank you Amazon and definitely VICTAGEN. I have used it for two month and its incredible.

Il faro è arrivato in 24 ore, sigillato e perfettamente integro. Anche se in alcuni commenti avevo letto che la luce posteriore è ricaricabile, devo smentire questa affermazione. La luce posteriore funziona con due batterie CR2032, classiche batterie a bottone molto comuni, ma non si ricarica. Il faro anteriore effettivamente fa una luce molto forte ma non ho avuto modo di provarlo ancora al buio totale. Il coperchio copri porta USB mi sembra leggermente "lasco" non vorrei che in caso di pioggia entrasse acqua proprio in quel punto molto delicato per l'elettronica. Pesa ma non eccessivamente e al tatto offre una bella sensazione di solidità, non altrettanto il supporto al manubrio che mi sembra delicatino. Per ora l'ho ricaricata e montata, pronta per il bike-to-work dopo l'orario invernale. Speriamo bene.

This light is fantastic and I’m very impressed with the build quality at this price point. Attractive metal case that has some weight to it. I researched many lights and based on the reviews for this one I decided it suited my needs best and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. The beam is plenty wide and it lights my path just enough ahead where I feel very confident even going 20-25mph on a pitch dark road. I’m going to be purchasing a second one to mount on my helmet because going around sharp corners in the dark will be safer if I can point the helmet light ahead of the curve. For now I just slow down a little bit and it’s fine. It’s funny if my bars move a little bit to the right and the main beam shines on the grass or bushes on the side of the road it looks just like a car is approaching behind me. I turn around and no one‘s there. Would be even brighter on a trail because the dark asphalt absorbs a lot of the light naturally. The amount is rocksolid and the light does not move although I’m on smooth pavement all the time But even when I bounce the wheel it doesn’t move but even when I bounce the wheel it doesn’t move. So far I’ve gone on to 45 minute rides on the highest brightness setting and still have two out of three dots of power remaining. So seems to hold a charge nicely.
