Nice 1000A bus bar product for my Off Grid Home LiFePO4 battery system. I attached the Victron Smart Shunt to the Negative connector and used another separate 300A bus bar to connect to the shunt via 4/0 short cable and then the negatives of the batteries to the 300A bus bar with MRBF fuses. The Lynx Power In holds the battery positives and the negative and positives of the Solar Charge Controller and Inverter Cables. I also added stainless steel bolts nuts and washers into the Power In to be able to use Victron ANL fuses (This modification can be found on YouTube). The Lynx Power In set up helps cable organization and keeps fingers of others away from being able to complete a circuit by touching + and - at the same time, or from me dropping a tool due to the cover. If I could have afford it, I would have used 2 expensive Lynx Power In boxes vs the uncovered single negative bus bar to connect the battery negatives to the Victron Shunt.

As with all victron stuff the quality is a given, this is easy to modify to take fuses.

when you look at what other quality high voltage bussbars cost this is not all that expensive ( relatively speaking ) I used some m8 bolts and nuts to create a fused linkage for each positive run. overall, great component, especially if you already have Victron components.

These are great, high quality and make an install clean, easy, and safe. Better and in the end likely cheaper than a diy solution

The only bus bars I’ve been using for a couple years not. Sorry. Don’t have pics with the cover on.This was while servicing it.

Delivered on time in good condition. This is basically a really heavy duty dual busbar. Solid copper with tin plating. Chainable. Use is for off grid solar. I purchased two. One is a combiner for battery bank. Using the bus and breakers I can isolate batteries while in use for testing, maintenance and/or replacement. The other is distribution for DC loads and sources. My inverter is running on 00awg (2/0awg) and there is plenty of space for even larger conductors. Victron quality

I really debated whether I was ready to spend one hundred and thirty dollars on what amounted to a souped up bus bar. I quickly changed my opinion once I began my DC electrical project on our sailboat. The Lynx Power-In proved to be a well designed, well built, and easy to integrate component. That has been my experience with almost every Victron product I have purchased over the past three years. The Lynx Power-In is a bus bar system with both negative and positive bus bars integrated into a single protected case. You could replicate the system by purchasing individual components, but I can't see how you would save money and the work on your project would be much more involved and complicated. The system is exceptionally well built, with thick tinned copper bar stock and a solid plastic cover. The Power-In does not contain fuse holders like the Lynx Distributor, but it is a relatively easy task to incorporate them yourself if required. Lastly, Victron is a first-class company. The company's designers really think through the engineering aspects of their products and the build quality is spot on. The online technical resources are excellent and my phone calls and emails to the US distributor always produced the needed answers. If you are starting a marine electrical project from scratch then I would highly recommend Victron as your product base.

Very solid, and excellent physical protection of the bus bars.Pros:* With the addition of 4 M8 bolts I was able to install 200A fuses for protection.* Was able to fit power disconnect switch between positive busbar with copper bar.*Was able to fit 500A shunt directly between negative bus bar with the creative use of plywood.*was able to solidly ground negative conductors for the system at the battery bus bar.Cons:One of the bolt heads seems to pulled out of its plastic seat that holds it. That will require removal of bus bar from case if I ever need to do maintenance on it.These weren’t my first busbars, but will be my last for medium to “large” home system. They make the wiring safe, and cleanly organized.
