About this item

  • Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT Tr 250-Volt 60 amp, 12/24/48V Auto Select (software tool needed to select 36V): A solar charger gathers energy from your solar panels, and stores it in your batteries, Using the latest, fastest technology, Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT maximises this energy-harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time
  • Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT charge controller will even recharge a severely depleted battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged
  • By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, Victron Energy MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels, and harvested for storage
  • Anytime anywhere remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT charge controller with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect
  • The intelligent Load output function prevents damage caused by running batteries 'flat'. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects a load - thereby preventing excessive drain on your batteries

I have 8 100watt panels and a 10ga wire preinstalled in my RV. This device was exactly what I needed to tie four parallel panels into a series loop that provides up to 150 volts at 8 amps. It communicates with my Cerbo GX and is now part of my entire solar solution. Looking forward to what Victron has to offer next!

Very good unit, what you'd expect from the Blue Brand.Handles our 3000W array without issues .My only very minor complaint is the bluetooth is a little "weak", and often need to get within 15ft of the unit to get signal , as my other brands go much further , but overall this is the best brand I've used so far.

Schlechtes Service, besser wo anders kaufen!

Victron is the best and it works top notch. This is my second one of the two I have for my solar unit. I will not buy anything else

i trust this to be a good unit / brand and do what is claimed with respect to performance - however it is not accurate to depict the onboard control panel when it does not actually come equipped with the onboard control/display module .. yes, these MPPTs are bluetooth however it is a matter of depicting this device in particular with such a unit affixed when it is not the case .. have returned item solely for the inaccuracy of the advertisement .. if it were known up front an addition $55 sub assembly was required, we would have made a different decision.

this company will rip you off for every additonal feature. want a temp sensor? costs extra. want to remote monitor through the internet, another few hundred bucks please.all that said, if all you want is basic charging, there is nothing better on the market, app is easy to use and lets you set voltagesi would have given it 5 stars if when paired with the battery monitor via bluetooth it could stop charging at 90% battery to extend lithium bank lifespan

The item arrived quickly and is reasonably priced but the main product image is misleading because it doesn't come with the digital display. You have to buy that separately. I may have shopped around more had I know it wasn't included.

Well made equipment often is easy to use, and this MPPT is no exception. Reasonably well documented (with an editor actually reviewing the material) manuals, no-frills and no fuss installation. This MPPT charger could not have been easier to get online. I first connected the unit to my battery bank, which it then auto-set to my 48V configuration, then connected in the panel bank. I downloaded the android app, connected to the device, and performed a few bits of fine tuning for setting charge current and have not needed to fiddle with anything since. The app provides useful information on battery state and charging state, as well as how much energy was used to recharge the system. What would be nice, is if the system informs you of the *potential* energy available from your system through the day. If you 'top off' earlier in the day, how much is 'wasted' or not captured from the panels?
