Overall I give this a passing grade. I’m a senior person with only hand tools so having to deal with missing screw holes was a challenge. I had to hand drill 4 holes to be able to attach 4 small pieces of wood at the bottom of the box that will eventually hold the bottom in place.

Nice storage bin, assembled in about 40 minutes. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability.I bought this to serve as a small side table and also house some outdoor pillows and happy with it so far. Assembly was generally easy except I had to drill some holes like several others mentioned in the reviews. Not an issue for me since I have a drill and use the blocks and screws to mark where I needed to add the holes. Left a photo of where the hole was missing, it’s a block that gets screwed in to hold the bottom piece in place.

Easy to assemble. All in took about 40 minutes. Solid and attractive wood structure and rainproof interior compartment. Using it to store outdoor cushions. Enough interior space to store 8 cushions.

We needed a side table with storage on our screen porch. This item is exactly what we needed! We can store the covers for our furniture here and it works great as a side table as well. We have several other wood tables and a side board and this item compliments them well. Excellent purchase!

組み立てですが、蓋と本体の間の蝶番の取り付け位置がずれてます。ノコギリで切って調整しました。しっかりと寸法を確認しておいてほしいですね。それと画像にある蓋の取手は、自分で手持ちのを取り付けました。

This is box is not going to last 30 yrs., but it doesn't cost $500. I'm a cabinetmaker and I wouldn't build it like this, but like the shoemakers children I had no time to make one for us. It's not really solid in the sense that you can sit on it, but it holds a lot inside. It went together very easily, maybe 30 min. tops, all the holes aligned. I drilled one hole deeper because the screw was a tight fit and I did want to split the wood. The blue liner fit perfectly and kept the contents dry in torrential rains. I might tweak it to make it last longer, but it's good as is. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL YOU FOLKS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT! Nice storage box and a great value for the price. PS: After torrential rains, when you lift the lid, one hell of a lot of water pours down the back edge of the lid - surprise!

The box looks great but assembly is a real pain. It came without pre-drilled holes (or even indications of where the holes should go) so not only did I need our power drill, but I also didn't get the holes in exactly the right spots when I drilled them. I would send it back but that seems more hassle than it's worth.

I found it easy enough to assemble using an ordinary screwdriver and the allen key, but as one reviewer remarked, the cuts for the hinges are too deep and I couldn't get the lid to close at all. I got round this by inserting nuts under the hinges (and using slightly longer screws) which raised them sufficiently for the lid to close. A small strip of wood would be better but I didn't have anything suitable to hand, hence the nuts. Having got the lid to close, I then discovered that it was slightly warped and one front corner was sticking up by about 1cm. A small brass hook and eye latch solved this (see photo). There were a couple of missing holes at the bottom where the little wood support blocks are attached, but I found that I was easily able to make holes with an awl. Overall, I am very pleased with the storage box. It seems sturdy enough and looks great. Can't comment on how waterproof it is as it hasn't rained since I put it together!

Nice little deck chest, mine went together in less than 30 minutes, all holes were correct and every thing fit well. The one issue I have is the last slat, on the right side looking forward, was broken on the at the back of the top. Upon further inspection of my unit, all the slats where they join the frame, the insert into the frame itself is less than a quarter of an inch thick, let no one sit on your chest, it will possibly break. I'm worried about mine being hit with basketball, dodge ball etc, the ball would definitely have enough force to break the slats. Wish I could get a new replacement top for mine, as it is now assembled.

First you must know: I did have to drill a few holes.With that being said - I couldn’t have purchased a deck box this nice looking for this price if it was perfect.I know some people won’t appreciate the missing holes at the bottom where the little wood support blocks attack to hold in the floor of the box - but if this piece was perfect it would probably cost $500 so I’m very happy.It’s not for everyone, I know. my husband would have probably thrown this in the trash after a baby fit but he has no patience. If you are like me and 1% of the population and don’t mind putting together ikea furniture this is a smokin’ deal for you. Fix yourself a cocktail or roll some of your finest and grab your drill and build yourself a sweet little deck box made of very pretty acacia wood.*note about blue lining : yes…. It’s a blue lining and not very fabulous looking but you can leave this out if you want. That will delete the weather proofing option but you won’t have to see a hint of blue if that bothers you. My initial thought was to leave it out but after I assembled the box and saw how nicely it fit inside with thoughtfully placed Velcro etc I had more appreciation for it and wanted the full integrity of the original design which includes weather resistance.If you have some patience and a power drill I highly recommend this for the price, you simply can not beat it. I paid almost twice this much for a shower stool because weather resistant wood is expensive.Good luck ☺️

.....der Boden machte ein paar Probleme: er ist im Vergleich zum Rest viel zu fragil, was bereits beim Transport zu einem Abbruch einer Latte (am Rande) geführt hatte. Es war zwar reparierbar (Holzleim, Nägel), aber es war kaputt. Der Schaden ist wohl auch durch die für dieses viel zu dünne Teil fehlende ordentlich Verpackung (Luftpolster) entstanden. UND: es fehlten zwei Schrauben, um dieses Teil zu befestigen. Es sind zwar Standardschrauben, die ich vorrätig hatte, aber hier sollte der Hersteller bei der Kontrolle nacharbeiten. Ach ja, eine Bauanleitung fehlte auch. Es erschließt sich zwar vieles/alles, aber nicht jeder Käufer ist ein erfahrener Heimwerker....
