The video is ok, the sound is terrible.I tried going through preamps with expensive mics as well, doesn't like music.Might be good for family picnics.I'll give it to my 10 year old nephew.

Blurry. All the videos I took were blurry, far away, up close, zoomed in, or out. No amount of changing the settings changed how blurry it got. Eventually returned it. I had such high hopes.

Well, it does record video...unfocused video. the camcorder is simply very bad quality. The battery compartment door WILL fail soon. It's about as cheaply and badly made as they come. I'm in sore need of SOMETHING to record video, so until I get a better unit, I'll hold onto this one.
