Gérard Laplau was a French Postwar & Contemporary artist who was born in 1938.
Gérard Laplau's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized values ranging from 296 USD to 618 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2018 the record value for this artist at auction is 618 USD for Campagne animée, sold at Ader in 2018.
The artist died in 2009.

This is a beautiful plate. Unfortunately the seller lists it as a set of 6, but it’s only 1. It’s stunning and fun, nonetheless.

I only received one plate instead of a set of six. I tried to get the other five missing plates but told ordering system could not manage that so returned the one plate

Since Villeroy & Boch discontinued manufacuring Design Naif Christmas collection, I was happy to find the last two salad plates here. But the condition of the dishes don't seem new as stated.However,I am satisfied with them. Good design and useful for daily use!!.

There was no problem with my order or with delivery - in fact every thing arrived early. Gotta love Prime. However, I am not 100% satisfied with the pieces. It seems Villeroy and Boch have changed their molds and the pattern slightly. Is it significant? no, but I can feel the difference and see the difference when I use both the older pieces and newer pieces.
