Worth every penny, no problems with this beautiful bench

The bench is very sturdy when completely assembled. There were some issues with the instructions included. Split lock washers were included with the metric bolts but were not referenced in the instructions. I chose to use them between the head of the bolts and the included flat washers. I found a few of the M8 holes in the cast aluminum parts were not tapped deep enough to my satisfaction, so luckily, I had an M8 tap available, and I made the tapped holes deeper. Could they be used as is? Possibly. I feel that there should also be a warning in the instructions that the fasteners should not be over tightened. If they go into the cast aluminum, it is very easy to strip the threads and ruin the part. I was able to assemble it myself, but someone not used to mechanical assembly may need additional help. I would buy this item again even with the issues described. Once assembled it is very sturdy and good lookiing.

This is the 3rd bench we've had in a shady, moist spot under two trees - it's hard on wooden benches, so we sought out cast aluminum. We tried to find something in this florid style locally, so we could assess quality and comfort, but had no luck. While I was willing to believe that flat-pack metal that you bolt together is going to last, I wasn't thrilled about buying a bench without sitting on it - but the bench does turn out to be quite comfortable, with no need for a cushion (except perhaps for cooler days). Quality and likely durability seem fine.We didn't zoom on the bronze finish, and it just looked brown. That seemed less obtrusive than black, and should offer less contrast to bird droppings, so we ordered that. The "Antique Finish" was a pleasant surprise - we just focused on the "Color Bronze" - which does seem well-done, though I wonder how it will age. Will the black spall off the bronze? The instructions ARE as bad as the reviews say they are. Allow time to take it slow and back-out of mistakes - you can undo anything, so long as the nuts are only finger tight. There are a lot more nuts and bolts than you need - I get the impression the factory uses standard hardware bags to save time, and doesn't care about throwing in a a few cents of worth of extra hardware, so long as you get enough. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench set - the 'wrench' they include is only good for ripping up your hands.

Light weight.Only dislike was the screws that attached the legs began to rust.

Brilliant designs both artistically and mechanically. Looks great, light but sturdy once assembled. On small/short side but fit perfectly for a sitting area by my front door overlooking a nice-looking drypond/neighborhood.

Was looking for a bench that would fit in an open part of my landscaping and this bench was perfect. Fairly easy to put together with assistance. Love the way it looks. So far it's held up to the weather.

I was pleasantly surprised with this bench. It appeared to be very similar, if not identical, to benches sold by big box stores for $300 so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I can't find anything negative to say about it. OK, maybe after a few years in the weather the finish might deteriorate or the blackened steel hardware might eventually rust, but the all-aluminum seat, back, arms, and legs will likely last forever.

I have had the luxury of putting this beauty in my garden. It looks good, it feels good, the only problem is that the birds keep landing on it and leaving behind a present. It can be washed off with a hose usually but then you might have to break out the pressure washer for the really stubborn ones. The screws in the arms became rusty after just one day but I don't pay attention to it. You could probably put something on the screw to prevent it from doing that.Assembly was okay, it took about half an hour I think, it's been almost a year but I remember the instructions being void of help. It was pretty self explanatory so I wouldn't worry too much. But the quality for the price can't be beat. I saw similar things at big box stores and they are double, triple the price for some reason. I might get another one once I save up enough money for it. It's a nice garden addition, even if I can't always sit on it.
